I am also trying to do a family tree. My family are from Bella's Gate also. Could you tell me the pet names of your family you mentioned on Ancestry please. Many people in Jamaica do not know the real names of family and friends. They were brought up with their pet names. Do you know about what year your grandparents or great grandparents, died, marriage and birth.

I am a Rhone too and have been looking for family. i've been told that we have family in lou. My name is Kesha and my mothers name is Carolyn Rhone.Her fathers name was John Wesley Rhone and her mothers name was Lena bell Rhone{Baker} I think there's a cousin in lou by the name Cora or Corrine Rhone. There is also a cousin that's in his 80's in Dallas Texas and his name is Dan Rhone.

I only know that my great/great uncle Alex Rhone moved to Brooklyn, NY around the early 1900s. He died around 1920; he was married to a Polly Davis from North Carolina.

I dont think any of my family lived in North Carolina, not to my knowledge. I have family in Queens and Brooklyn. I know some of my Rhone family went to America but where about i dont know, i only know of the ones i mentioned to you. There are many Rhone's in Jamaica. Are you on facebook? or any of your Rhone family?

Thanks for responding. I do not know where in the West Indies my Joseph is from. One cousin believes he was from the British West Indies, but noone knows which Island. Did any of your family live in North Carolina? I am still researching; if I find any information, I will let you know.

My great grandmother was Margarete/Margret Rhone, born around 1860 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Margarete had three brothers; Edward who moved to Massachusetts, Alex who moved to Brooklyn, NY and Robert. Their father, Joseph/John Rhone was born in the West Indies around the early 1820s. I am at a roadblock concerning Joseph. Thanks in advance for any information or leads.

I was in London a few days ago at London History Archive Centre, and came across information stating Calvin Rhone age 24. Father is Gerald Rhone, Married Edith James. I was also researching Rhone's from St Catherine.

i live in united kingdom, England. My grandmother's maiden name is Rhone. She was from Bella's Gate, St Catherine, Jamaica. So where the rest of my grandmother's family. The Rhone family consist of Isaiah, Irene, Ruby, Hazel, Ednin, Merlin, Addessa and many more. There are a few Rhones that are still alive and live in England.

Sorry - I do not have any information on the individual you mentioned. I am attempting to locate a Mollie Brock who was born in TN and later resided in Oklahoma. Her father was Isaac Brock (one of many). As far as I know we do not have a George Brock in our line and the Rhone name is only speculation at this point as to whether it is connected or not.
