thanks for asking. I open the Face Book site: "Ringling, The Last Laugh," and the www.Ringlingbook.com on May 19 - the 128th anniversary of the first Ringling Circus. This will have the book intro, cover and an excerpt. It will also give the approximate release date (June 11). It could be later. It will be in Kindle and paperback through Amazon.

I will look for her married name or ask Betsy (my cousin). Salome was married in early 1930 at Ca 'd'Zan. I am Charles Ringling's Great Grandson. I am about to publish a novel on the family "Ringling, The Last Laugh."

incorrect. "Little Sally" is my grandmother. Edward Walker Brightwell is my grandfather. They had five children. Molly, Elizabeth (Betsy), Laura, Henry and Edward jr (Ned). Betsy is my mother.

Does anyone know how Francis ringeling is related to the family of august frerick ringling.Francis was born abt.1816 in Hesse Casel Germany and lived and raised children in Missouri.His grandchildren had free lifetime passes to the ringling brothers circus....what's the connection????

Yes, she had a daughter Name: Marie Salome North married Roy B. Stratton and then Randolph L. Wadsworth.

My Mom was born in 1931. Robert Scott Button and my Grandmother were married at that time...but I know by the time my Mom was two they were divorced. Robert Scott Button sadly committed suicide in his thirties. I know I was told that he would stay at the Mansion in Florida. He would write to My Grandmother Naiomi Zeel while staying there.

Hello, My name is Terri Giorgetti Commander. My mother was Robert Button's only Child. Her Name was Delores Joan Helland. My Grandmother Naiomi Zeel Married Robert Button and they divorced.. what year I don't know. She then married Erv Helland who raised my mom with her three sisters. But Yes Robert Scott Button is my Grandfather.

Lee, George, James (Johnny) and Calvin

I have discovered a curious anomaly in my family history. We have always thought my great grandfather's (Lee from Indiana) surname was Ringler, but on various census reports, he and two of his brothers (George and James, aka. Johnny from New Mexico) went by the surname of Ringling. Lee was born abt. 1885 and died about 1925. He is thought to be from Goshen, Indiana and married Freda Mears. His descendants went by Ringler, but this possible Ringling connection is quite interesting to me. Any ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I have since discovered that his name was George John Ringling, born Dec 29 1896, died Mar 31 1958 in California. He was my father going by the alias David Karl Bronswood. Still have no info on his relatives though. I can be reached at karlbronswood@hotmail.com
