In my records, I have a Jerry Albritton Robertson who married a cousin of mine. Her name was Sheila Ann Morgan.

Together, they had 3 children: a son, Jerry, who was b in 1959; a daughter, Martha, who was b in 1960; and a son, Roy, who was born in 1964.

The family lived in the Annapolis, Maryland area.

Would this be your family?

I don't know anything about the father, but I have a lot of information on the ancestry of Sheila. Would you be interested in exchanging data?

Mary Brewer
mary_a_brewer_2000@yahoo.com

Janice,

I hope you still read replies to your posts, as yours is dated 2005. I'm looking for John Robertson, b. abt 1819, according to the 1851 census, Dundee, Angus co., Scotland. His birthplace is listed as Little Dunkeld, Perthshire. In the Scottish Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950 is found a John Robertson born 30 Jun 1819, son of Donald Robertson and Elizabeth Conacher. He was baptized on 05 Jul 1819 in Little Dunkeld, Perth. Is this the John Robertson you list as son of Donald and Elspeth? You have his birth year as 1818 but the same month and day as the Scottish Births. What is the source of your information? Is Dalguise near Little Dunkeld?

I noticed in your other posts that you are interested in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The John Robertson I seek died there. I'd like to compare notes with you.

Kathy
Kailua, Hawaii

Hi All, I started this thread way back in 2001 and haven't looked at it since. With the leaf hints and better databases, I have got back into my family history. My mum and I are in the process of digitising a lot of written and printed records including a reasonably comprehensive family tree (possibly produced by someone in Queensland, Bert, could that be you?). I am going to try and contact each person who has posted in this thread, but should I fail, please email me at deanrobertson@netspace.net.au or through my ancestry account.
Happy to share.

Searching for Robert Robertson (possibly Robinson) who was born in Wales or Scotland approx. 1777-1782 and was in Hancock County, Maine, by 1804 when he married Jane Richardson from Portland, ME. Would like to find info on parents who were originally from Scotland. It's possible that when he arrived in the US he changed his name from Robinson to Robertson.

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to locate a David Robertson. I was looking at family trees on Ancestry and I found a David Robertson, David Robison and a David Robinson; all with the same birthdate and same birthplace; plus all married to the same woman. Can anyone help me? The David I'm looking for was married to Mary Eulah Fisher, daughter of William M. Fisher and Mary Brown from Upstate New York. Mary was born in the mid 1800s, so I take it David was born around the same time. Thanks

I beleive this is one of my relatives. His parents are Daniel and Catherine of Brechin Scotland. Was Janes middle name Williamson? Family history (from living relatives) say that Alexeandar and possibly another brother went to Australia, one brother (my g-grandfather) came to the US, another brother stayed in Scotland. I'm happy to provide more info. hermopar383@yahoo.com

Dear Barbara,
I am so delighted to hear from you - I have been researching our family history since 1996 when my dad died - my husband and I visited Scotland this past fall and had dinner in Polmont with Jim and Carol Robertson who have provided me with a lot of information since I found Jim a couple of years ago but I still have a lot of gaps to fill and would love to correspond with you and your mother. My email is galapoochi@gmail.com - please send me your email and I will be happy to send you more information - including the fact that not only did our great-grandparents NOT die in an automobile accident but they had two more children (in addition to Ann, Charles, William and Flora)!

Regards,
Gail Giella
on Long Island in New York

Hi Deborah!

Looking for info on my great-great grandfather, Archie Robertson. Born in 1867 in Virginia (father born in Virginia, mother born in North Carolina). Have him in the 1900 census married to Emmie, living in Savannah, GA. Found him again in the 1930 census still living in Savannah at the age of 63.

Any help would be appreciated, but parent's names would be spectacular! Thanks!

Ephriam or Ephraim Robertson

Seeking any information on my maternal grandmother's paternal grandfather's (Ezra Robertson) father, Ephriam or Ephraim Robertson and his predecessors. Known facts: b. 9 Sept 1782 in NJ?; m. Eleanor "Nellie" Lane { b. 20 Feb 1790 Peapack, Somerset, NJ; d. ca 1868 Castine, Darke County, OH} d. 10 Jan 1830 in Preble County, OH. Father of Jane, Isaac VD, Ezra, Mary Ann, Rachel, Catharine, Huldah, Eleanor and Harriet. According to a Preble County 1827 tax record, Ephriam owned land in Monroe Township. Have handwritten notes written in 1929 by one of Ephriam's grandsons that indicate his father's first name was Samuel and that he (Ephriam) had the following siblings: Samuel, David, Charles and Anna (Robertson) Dinwiddie.

I would appreciate any information about Ephriam and his predecessors. I will gladly share the information I have gathered on his and his wife's descendants. Since I have a joint Ancestry membership with my cousin, it would be easier if you contact me directly through my personal email: arelge1205@sbcglobal.net Thanks!

Roger Gansauer
