Hi Kim: This is in addition to my other attempt to contact you. Your grandmother did indeed have a child out of wedlock. Her father did disown her although he and her mother Mabel Root were in the family way before they married. Little May's grandmother Mary Ann Kent however helped her through the pregnancy.
