Jacob Royals was my gggfather and lived in Sweetgum Head, Holmes Co., FL, and was married to Amanda Gill. He is buired in the Royals Cementary in Sweetgum Head.

Edward Royals was my gg Grandfather. His son, John S. Royals was my g grandfather. John's son, Juston Caspin Royals,was my grandfather. John Simpson Royals married Mary Ardell Coats. Juston Caspin Royals married Ebby Venie Valentine. My mom, Mary Evelyn (Royals) Nolan was their youngest daughter. I would love more info on Edward, please.

I am looking for the family of Mary Jane "Royals" Davis. She marrried a James M. Davis in Lowndes Co. AL in 1867. The Royals family was from NC. Her father according to her death record was a John Royals. This is all the information I have. Mary J. was born March 19, 1848 and died April 17, 1931. Any information is appreciated.

Hi, Is there any Social Security record on him? That might give the death date because death records are great if the person giving the information knew the right facts. I found a Willaim Royals born 7 Jul 1892 and died May 1969 last known address Dunn, NC. Also, 1900 Census are good. If you don't have Ancestry.com sometimes the Family History Center Library close to you might have it available. Search www.familysesarch.org for the closes library. Smiles, Mary in Alabama

Article Title: "Mrs. Royals Joins Husband in Germany"

Mrs. J. W. Royals left last Thursday, June 7, 1956 for Augsburg, Germany where she will join her husband Cpt. J. W. Royals of the 408th. 11th Airborne Division, to spend the next three years. Royals has been stationed in Germany since the month of January. Mrs. Royals left Nashville, Tennessee by American Airlines for a flight to New York where she was to spend Thursday night before leaving Friday morning for Frankfort, Germany by TWA. The Italian Airlines were to carry her on to Munich, Germany, which is her destination. Plans were that she would arrive there Saturday, June 9, 1956.

She is the former Miss Myrna Wallace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Wallace of Route 3, Dover, Stewart County, Tennessee.

Searching for info on Harmon Royals. He was listed in the 1880 Berrien Co. census as 60 yrs old b. GA., m. to Margaret age 49. The children listed were: Nettie age 20, John age 14, Doryanna, age 13, Daniel age 11, Charles age 8, Thomas age 6, Robert age 3. Robert Royal age 22, and his wife Maggie are in the 1900 census of Valdosta listed as the brother-in-law and sister-in-law of George A. Rudd. This is confusing as to which ones are actually related to George Rudd. Robert was b. July 1877 and Maggie b. Oct 1883, m. 1898 in Valdosta.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

A stranger named E C Ryals arrived in Jones County,Ms in time for the 1860 census.In 1860 census, he shows his place of birth as Ga. He is living with a much older woman who is not Caroline, and no children are in his home.
By the 1870 census, his name is E C Royals, and he has a much younger than him wife named Clarissa.
Lots more to this story if you are interested, as we beleive this person to be Edmund/Edward son of John S Royals/Ryals/Royal of Georgia. Contact me direct at robert.royals@direcway.com, if you can either prove or disprove our therory.

also have been trying to research royals name. All I know is that my family came from NC, SC, GA, I lived not to far from you I'm from Wildwood, Florida, am now in Alaska. Let you know there is a royals cemetary in SC which I found out. There's also alot of royals living in Oxford, Florida there an old cemetary there. Searching for info on Susan Hockhammer Royals, wife of Rankin Royals of NC. Rankin is brother of Gideon, Nathan, and Uriah Royals. I have some info on Rankin (and his children) and brothers but nothing on Susan. Family stories are that she is daughter of John Hockhammer, a Cherokee chief in Alabama, but I cannot locate any info on him or Susan.

Jane Royals was born on August 1811 in North Carolina. She came to Mississippi and married Francis Boykin in 1827. She died in Smith COuntry Mississippi in June 1896. I would like to find the North Carolina Royals.
