Jose,
Thank you for replying....I have since found that Juana is really Maria Juana Marichalar daughter of Pedro Jose Feliciano Marichalar Sada and his second wife Maria Leonor Garcia.....
I didn't have Salvador at all, so now he is added in.....
My Great Great Grandparents are Francisco Marichalar and Dolores Sanchez.. Dolores died in childbirth with my Great Grandfather Manuel Marichalar and Francisco remarried a couple of years later to Victoria Garza...and had a large second family...
Francisco's parents were Manuel Marichalar and Enemencia Bocanegra.....I am at a loss to determine Manuels father, but his mother was Maria De Jesus Villarreal.......Manuel was born around 1832/33....there were 2 Manuel Marichalars born in that time and I can't tell which one is mine....If only I could find out who was married to Maria De Jesus Villarreal, then I would have my connection for sure....I believe that they were either from Cadereyta or Cerralvo....Anyway, thank you again...
Johnny

Fernando,
The information you seek, I have on the Sada's of Mexico and
they were from the Nuevo Leon area. Yes, Francisco Sada
had brothers and sisters. Like Francisco whom married into
the Muguerza Family, so did his older brother Jose Matias Sada to Maria Tomasa Muguerza Santoscoy. They had a
daughter named Genoveva Sada Muguerza who married her
uncle Joaquin Sada another older brother of Francico Sada.
Joaquin & Genoveva had about 18 children. The family of
Francisco & Maria del Carmen Muguerza is the biggest family
tree in my Family Tree of the Muguerza's. This book will contain about 6,000 to 7,000 family names. I am placing it together now and will take to Monterrey next year so that I can show off. I will try to get copies of family pictures for the book.
Take Care!
Jose

Hello Fernando,
Question: My records show that you are the son of Fernando Sada Quiroz and Maria Eugenia Elizondo. You show to have two sisters. If you are this person, you are also a descendant of Antonio T. Muguerza SantosCoy and Maria del Refugio Crespo de Sada. The Muguerza's were also born in Cadereyta Jimenez, N.L.,Mexico. Francisco Sada also had two more brothers that married into Muguerza and Sada Muguerza in the 1800's. My relatives come from the Muguerza's of Reynosa, Tamp., Mexico that lived there in the 1800's before crossing into Texas.
Will be in Monterrey in November, 2003.
Jose

Sada surname, previously De Sos

The Sada family that lives in Monterrey Mexico, is one full of history. It dates back to Spain's Catholic Kings, Ferdinand and Isabella. Isabella was from the House of Castilla (another surname) while Ferdinand was from the House of De Sos. His family, from the vast lands Aragon, lived in a palace called Palace of the Sada Family. That palace is a historical monument in a small town called "Sos del Rey Católico". Sos, was their surname, De Sos, and the rest means Of the Catholic King. The younguest descendant of that family was born recently, and she lives in Chicago, by the name of Vanina Sada. The Sada family used to own an enormous chain of banks in Mexico, but President López Portillo took them away when he nationalized them all. Their arriving in Mexico is typical of many Spaniard Aristocrats, to expand their wealth. Today, this family is actively involved in politics, and an elder member of the family shares a good relationship with Pierre Trudeau, former Canadian Prime Minister. Another branch of these are owners of VITRO, a glass company that is not doing very well, yet it once was a major exporter of Coca Cola glass bottles. Another branch are descendants of the founder of FEMSA, an enormous corporation that owns diverse companies. The most succesful of these would be Coca Cola Mexico Argentina, their Breury that makes beer like Sol, Tecate, Dos X, etc, and a chain of 24 hour open shops like the seven eleven, yet they are called OXXO. Whenever you hear the surname Sada in Mexico, you know they are from Monterrey, and a family of the priviledged few that retain enormous wealth, even after suffering much during the crisis of 1929.

HI, I am from New York City and have never met my biological father. All I know is that he was a "plumber" and was from Texas. I also know he met my mother here in NYC at around 1974-75. If anyone has any information, please let me know, its always a missing link in my life. Thank You. Linda
