Hi Jackie,
Edward Cuffley 1814-1886,was my GGGGrandfather.
Do you have any information on his second family?
after heis first wife,Ellen Cunningham, died he returned to England & remarried,then returned to Australia.
Also how can I contact his GGGGrandon Christoper Bennetts,who resides in Victoria.& married in 1989.

Do you have a copy of the obit you can send? Kathleen Kruspe was my grandmother. If you check the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census records for Spring Valley City, Hall Township, Bureau county, IL, you will find records for a John and Mary O'Beirne, listing John, James, Gertrude, and Leonora as her siblings (it has her listed as Catherine, which I think can easily be attrbuted to a transcription error). Kathleen died in Feb 1969. Her husband, my grandfather, died 8 Oct 1969. right before my first birthday.

Thomas Saffron was a son of James Saffron & Mary.He did indeed die in 1893.
I am descended from John Hayes Saffron who was a nephew of James Saffron the father of Thomas.
If you are interested I have the genealogy from Thomas'es
grandparents(James & Jane) to the present(app 300-400 people)

I to am a decendant of Thomas Saffron, he was my great grandfather. He married Jane Edwards who dies in 1939. My mother has vived memories of her as she was living with them at the time of her death but Thomas alas died well before my mother was born

The name Thomas Saffron is known to me and he did indeed mary Jane Edwards. I know of 5 children by this marriage. Thomas and Jane were in fact my Great grandparents. My mother (born Jean Saffron) has no recollection of Thomas but does remember Jane as she lived with her when she died on 27th June 1939. They were living in Blackfen, Sidcup at the time. I also know the name Beecraft as it appears as a witness on a marriage certificate I have

I think thomas saffron is my ggg uncle. I am descended from James saffron, m. eliza mitchell c 1871-1875. parents james saffron, mary ann. g parents james & jane(t) saffron. does anyone have any more info on this family (all in shoreditch, london)?

Just found an obit (1964) for James C. O'Beirne. Listed there are: John, brother, Kathleen Krauspe, Lenore Anderson and the late Gertrude Saffron. Fond uncle of Robert Saffron. This obit was from the Chicago Tribune. The buriel was to take place in Spring Valley, IL.

I have the death certificate of Edward Saffron who died on 2nd May 1886 age 72, son of James Saffron (Naval Officer) and Jane Craven. He was buried on 4th May 1886 in Church of England Cemetery Waverley New South Wales.

Do you know anything about a George Robert Saffron Born on 23rd Feb 1892? He doesn't appear in the 1801 Census and the birth isn't registered at the family records office. I do have a death certificate which gives hios date of birth but not where he wasborn. I do know he spent most of his life in the Sidcup area.

can't find anything on James Sr or Janet.

Hi, I do not know much about this side of my family tree. I have an Eliza Saffron who married my Great Grandfather in 1907 in London UK. Her father was a Thomas Saffron a Stone Mason. Sorry do not know more...as I am concentrating on the Becraft decent at present.
