Jodi, Beverly: Yours' are old posts. I hope they are still valid. I think your Alsey's connection is with the Sanders of Upson Co., GA, from the 1830-40s. Here's the info I have:

WILLIAM3 SANDERS (THOMAS2, WILLIAM1) was born Abt. 1744 in Edgecomb Co Nc, and died Abt. 1805 in Franklin Co NC. He married ELIZABETH PERRY 1765 in Grandville Co NC, daughter of NATHANIEL PERRY.

Notes for WILLIAM SANDERS:
1) Military service: Rev War "List of Pensioners -NC, SC, KY, TN, MS, MO, FL, AL" Vol III, War Dept. in the National Archives, Washington, DC. William Sanders, Pvt, $21.22/Annual, $63.66 rec'd, NC Mil. Placed on pension roll - 27/Dec/1832, Comm of Pension - 4/Mar/1831, age - 88, in Franklin Co, NC. (born 1744).

Children of WILLIAM SANDERS and ELIZABETH PERRY are:
i.	NATHANIEL4 SANDERS, b. Abt. 1766, Bute Co NC; d. June 13, 1848, Upson Co. Ga.
ii.	WILLIAM SANDERS, JR., b. Abt. 1768, Bute Co NC; d. Abt. 1847, Jones Co Ga.
iii.	REBECCA SANDERS, b. Abt. 1770, Bute Co NC; m. JOHN ERVIN, Abt. 1788, Franklin Co NC.
iv.	THOMAS SANDERS, b. Abt. 1772, Bute Co NC; m. ELIZABETH MITCHELL, Abt. 1790, Granville Co NC.
v.	MICAJAH WADE SANDERS, b. Abt. 1774, Bute Co NC; d. 1833, Jones Co Ga.
vi.	JAMES SANDERS, b. Abt. 1776, Bute Co NC; m. HANNAH MITCHELL, Abt. 1794, Grandville Co NC.
vii.	PETER W SANDERS, b. Abt. 1778, Franklin Co NC; d. 1851, Talbot Co Ga.
viii.	CHRISTINA SANDERS, b. Abt. 1780, Franklin Co NC; m. DAVID DUPREE, Abt. 1798, Franklin Co NC.
ix.	HUGH SANDERS, b. Abt. 1782, Franklin Co NC.
x.	NANCY SANDERS, b. Abt. 1784, Franklin Co NC; m. JOSEPH WALSTON, Abt. 1801, Franklin Co NC.
xi.	JOHN SANDERS, b. Abt. 1786, Franklin Co NC. More About JOHN SANDERS: Census: 1820, Anson Co NC.

You see listed above that William had a son, Micajah Wade. Nathaniel, who is my ancestor, had a son named Alsey, who prior to the Civil War moved to Pike County, AL with two of his brothers. This Alsey also named a son Alsey.

I do not have my notes with me but if I remember correctly, Willian had several brothers . I think two of them were named Alsey and Micajah or maybe one or both were uncles. I'm sorry I cannot be sure so do not take my guessing as fact. I would encourage you however to research this William, his parents and siblings for your connection.
Stay well,
Paul

Thank you. I appreciate your information. I had assumed, based upon the amount of information you had in your original post, that you were related. I had also hoped that you might have found additional information specific to Allen Sanders' death and burial. I have researched the Allen Sanders/Saunders in the 23rd GA Inf. Reg't and unless something else comes to light, they are not the same person. There are more differences than just their dates of death. If you happen to find anything new about the Richmond Sanders family, keep me in mind. I'd like to hear from you.
PB

Richmond Sanders is my ancestor through his son, David Nathaniel. My most recent research on this family has been on Allen D.W. Sanders who married Eddy Anderson. I have been able to account for the deaths and burials of all Richmond and Caroline's sons except Allen. After Allen died in 1863, Eddy remarried in 1867 in Chambers Co. I'm sorry I cannot say to whom at the moment as I don't have my notes with me. Family tradition is that Allen died in the Civil War as did his brother, Wiley J. There was an Allen Sanders in the 23rd Georegia Inf. Reg't who was killed in 1862 in VA. I've found no evidence that the two Allen's are the same. Do you have any additional info on Allen? And, how are you related to Richmond?
Thanks,
Paul Bartley

I am looking for any information about John Sanders. He married in Aug 1877 to Josephine Walters. He is listed as a resident of Fulton County Illinois at the time and age 22. There is no other reference to him except in Josphine's death notice of 1928 which stated only that he preceded her in death. No birth date, no death date, no birth place, no middle name, no family, etc. He and Josephine had 3 children, 2 of which were living in Table Grove, IL. at the time of the 1900 census. According to family tradition, he died about 1889.

Re: Looking for information on my 3rd great grandfather julius "jude" sanders born Johnston county N.C. about 1869

Okay. I think I looked at your family a bit when you asked about J.B., but didn't find much at the time. Here's what I could dig up on Julius. Don't know if any of it will help you, but here it is.

I think I saw that you already found the 1910 census record for Julius in Tallahatchie.

I found him listed as Julious Saunders in 1900 Tallahatchie.
He is listed with wife Anna, married 2 years. Two daughters living with them, Ella and Bettie, both apparently from a previous marriage. Possibly daughters of Julius, but possibly step-daughters. This record has Julius born April 1864 in North Carolina. My guess would be that they married in the 1890s in Tallahatchie. There should be a marriage record somewhere, but I can't find it.

Julious Sanders in 1870 Johnston, North Carolina is a possible match, but need more documents to make the connection.

A couple of interesting records on familysearch.org that *could* be related.
1914 marriage of Frank Sanders and Pearl Harris in Lewis County, Washington. His parents shown as Julious Sanders and Anna Moore. His birth in Louisiana about 1874. Apparently his third marriage.
1930 death of Alice Sanders in Raleigh, Wake, North Carolina. Her parents shown as Julius Sanders and Annie Moore. Her birth about 1879 in Wake County, North Carolina.
A veteran's headstone was requested for a Julius Sanders, died in 1935. The application was by a Lillian Sanders of Monroe, Louisiana.

I know it's been a long time since you left this post, but I'm searching for a great grandmother who married a Sanders, possibly in Clayton Co., Ga. I don't know her first name or his. They had a son named Albert William Sanders/Saunders who was later adopted by her sister Lou Proctor Jones. My great great grandmother's mother's name was Amanda Cannon Proctor.
If you know of any of these names, please let me know.
Thanks.
