MARION NETTY SAUNDERS (d.o.b. 8/5/1891) married to CLAUDE MILTON ALTVATER.

They were my grandparents, father's side. They had a son named Milton Buerkle ALTVATER, my father. He grew up in Virginia, moved to Baltimore, Maryland and then settled in New Jersey in 1952 until he passed away in August of 1993.

I am his second and youngest son, Neil Buerkle ALTVATER. He named me after Dr. Austin Neil SAUNDERS and he gave me his middle name, which he was give in honor of Dr. Alexander Buerkle.

My mother use to write to a cousin of my dad's who lived in Maryland, she was a Buerkle and her mother had a long history of information on the Buerkle's. I lost touch with her after my parents died in 1993. She may have information about Dr. Alexander Buerkle.

Are we related? Cousins perhaps? If so how?
