Does anyone know anything about Christopher Saunders, the hartford merchant that married (Polly) Mary Brewster in about 1804 - she is in a Pilgrim line and her first marriage was to Samuel Day (they had 2 kids - Elizabeth Day and Marshall Day) Christopher & Mary's daughter Jane was married in 1831, Mary died in 1831 and Christopher's probate began in 1835... I know he was connected some how to the Dix family some how - maybe just by business (Cornelius, Macnamera, edward and Mary Dix) I am guessing he is from one of the older Saunders families in Connecticut, but I can't find any link, or anything about him (or his daughter Jane that was born in Connecticut) in Connecticut
