Laila Teresa Sciarretta Born in Pescara, Italy on March 12,1934; died quietly in her sleep August 6, 2009. She got married and then came to the United States with her previously departed husband, Biagio Sciarretta. She is survived by her two sons, Robert and Daniel; and by her four brothers and one sister in Italy; along with many nieces and nephews. She was loved by many friends and will be dearly missed. Friends and family may visit Monday after 4 pm, and are invited to the Vigil Service at 7 pm at DUGGAN' SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10:30 am at St. Anne of the Sunset Church, 850 Judah St, SF. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery.

Hazel DUNCAN was born 29 Dec 1915 in Spencer, Clay, IO.
She died 13 Jul 1995 in Monroe, Monroe , MI.

Eliseo SCIARRETTA was born Abt 1870 in ITALY.
He died Abt 1947 in Glenview, Cook, IL.
He married Lucia MARCONI.
Lucia MARCONI was born Abt 1870 in ITALY.
She died Abt 1950 in ITALY.

Wow! That is my husbands grandfather!
Alphonse had several children who all ended up in an orphanage after he died. His son Gildo was only 9 mts old at the time. He also had 2 other sons, Alphonse (died 1980) and John. John and Gildo are still alive.

Do you happen to know where Alphonse was born in Italy?
