I was a sedgley. You wrote that you had an uncle George in Billingham. That was my Dad but he died in 2000 and Kitty my Mum died in 2010. She was 90 years old. Harry is also dead now. He died in 2011, but Michael and Reg are occasionally in contact with us.

Hi,
My ggg grandmother was Frances Sedgley, and I have absolutely no information on her, apart from the fact that she married my ggg grandfather James Partington, and that her parents were Thomas Sedgley and Mary ? (m 10th November 1777). James Partington was a redcoat, and came to Australia in 1843 as a convict guard. I wonder if this is the same family as yours; if so, would like to exchange info.
Cheers,
Greg
