There are several Georg Seifert entries in my index dated 1893, 1911, 1936 (2X). There are 200+ Seifert, and 300+ Neumann entries collected since 2007. Indexing continues in 2012. There are too many other surnames referenced with these entries to list here.
Specific look-ups are available from compiler/editor at gary.rebholz@gmail.com

No sure if these are the same people, but my husband's great aunt was Myrtle Guntrip and she married Rollo Borkenhagen. Her mother was Amelia Siefert and her father was Edward Guntrip (born in England). Amelia and Edward had 4 daughters: Myrtle, Elizabeth (Clarence) Bradley, Helen (Walter Lehman) and Alice (Irvin) Kunow. They also had one son, George W. Guntrip (b. 1895 d. 1910). All from Wisconsin. ~Dorothy Lehman

I always assumed Valentine Seifert was the son of Andrew Seifert (age 61/67 in 1880 Washington Co., KS census) and Catherine Rheinhardt. Frank Seifert was no doubt a brother of Valentine. Frank named two of his sons Valentine and Andrew. They came from IN to KS.I'm not related to them, but grew up in the parish they belonged to in KS.

My third great grandmother was a Barbara Seifert. She married a George Peter Quick and lived in Gardensville, Baltimore. If you look up Peter Quick, you should come across a census record of her, her parents, and a brother. This is the only record I have of them and I know absolutely nothing about her family. In my tree, I linked her to the Schweigert family, but this is only speculation and I have absolutely no proof of this.

This census record lists her family as Liegert, but death records I have received of my family clearly has her maiden name written as Seifert.
Hello all-
I am attempting to research my great grandmother's family. Her name is Ella Mae Seifert, born January 1897 in Baltimore, MD. Her father is William Seifert, and her mother is Jennie (Maiden Name Unknown). Siblings include: Clirhty (spelling from Federal Census), William (born in approx. 1904), Mary, Augusta, Stenie, and Catherine. Ella Mae married Elmer Clarence Cyford. I am completely stumped by this family. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Who is John F. Seifert b. PA Lived in Baltimore, MD

In the 1880 Baltimore census Jacob Seifert 10 b. PA is in home of Robert Patterson 39 b. MD and his wife Margaret A 42 b. MD. Jacob is listed as a nephew.
In the 1900 Baltimore census Jacob Seifert 31 b. May 1869 and married 7 yr is in home of Robert Patterson 58 b. MD and Margaret A Patterson 63 b. MD. He is listed as nephew.
I think Jacob's wife died sometime from the 1900 census until 1902. I think in 1902 Jacob married Sadie E. born 1881. She may be Sadie E. Richardson.

Any help appreciated.

Given the vagaries of the census I thought Jacob may be Jacob 1/12 (May 1870) b. MD to John Seibert 27 born Bavaria and Margaret 32 b. Bavaria accoerding to the 1870 Baltimore census. Margaret's age and the her son Jacob born in May are similar to the Jacob above.

I am just getting going again in my geneology research. Yes, Alonzo married Mary Dalrumple it was his second marriage. Do you have any information on his first marriage. My grandmother SS info said her mother was Sarah Scott. But, I believe she went my the name of Sadie. I can not find when she died or what the cause was. I know that when Alonzo and Sadie were married they lived next door to George and Mary (Dalrumple) Sine.

I hope to be able to continue my research. I get side tracked from time to time when I reach a dead end.
Seiferts in the Syracuse/Rome area of New York.

Looking for any information on following names:
Jacob Seifert born 1835
Maragretha Seifert (Kunz) born 1838
Josephine Seifert (Endreas) born ?
August Seifert born 1889
Margaretha Seifert born 1879
Henry Seifert born 1874
Christian Seifert born 1875

Also I have found on the census records for Henry Seifert that he immigrated to the USA in 1893 from Germany, Um or Un. Can anyone tell me what the Um/Un stands for? The writing is very hard to read so I am not sure if I have it right. It's diffinitely 2 letters.

I am also interested in surnames or Rosenberger, Evans, and James. All lived in the Syracuse, New York area.

I have a lot of information on Rosenberger and James. Will gladly exchange any info. Email me at jmalich@yahoo.com if you have questions. Thank you.
