I grew up in Gulfport, Ms. My grandparents were Seymour (Simon) Sellier and Eva Pavolini. Our family tree begins with Jules Sellier.

-2 children listed in 1901 Canadian census

I am looking for information on this family as I am tracing the family of Alice Cole Sellier.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Christophe Rochette was born on January 11, 1796 in Metz France.

His father: Antoine Joseph Rochette born in Flavines de Sambre-et-Meuse (Today Belgium).

His mother: Elisabeth Sellier born in Parroy de Meurthe Et Moselle, France.

He emigrated to the Virgen Islands in 1819 and then to Santo Domingo in 1822.

He married:
Mauricia Gomez Perez in 1827.

His children:

Cipriana Justina Rochet Gomez

Hello Jane:

My great, great grandfather Erasmo Bermudez Jiminez was born in 1825 in Valencia Venezuela and died October 1, 1907 in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

He married in 1863 my great great grandmother Maria Petronilla Rochet Gomez born in 1839 died October 11, 1889 in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Her father was: Christophe Rochet Sellier of Metz, France and her mother was Mauricia Gomez Perez and they married in 1827.

I'M TRYING TO LOCATE A COPY OF CHRISTOPHE ROCHET SELLIER'S MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE OR DEATH CERTIFICATE TO FIND OUT HIS PARENTS NAMES.

DOES ANYONE HAVE INFORMATION REGARDING ROCHET SELLIER FROM METZ FRANCE?
