I matched DNA with Albert orcindy. I have not heard from them. Albert may have been my father. His father Alberts died in 1949 I Wilmington.i was a twin born toalbert jr.b/ 3/14/1949. My uncle as Miquel perfecto sep. father of frank, who was a twin as well as Betty June,b/ 1928 to Ramon sep.junes twin died in 1929,capistrano. I will be in capistrano today,Tuesday to speak to a father and take pictures of June. I may have been born there and I will find that out. At that point I will hire an attorney or pr. Det. To get complete details. I am going to buy his old home and any property that may have been left. I will also be completing my book on this chaotic and disturbed family, with verified facts. I think Betty June never died, just her twin was put in the Los Angeles home for abandoned children. I also have a tribal census number I should have. Miquel

Hi,<br>My grandpa was from El Paso Texas, Moises Sepulveda Soto. I've been trying to find out more about the Sepulveda side of the family because I know so little. I do know he was born around 1901 and lived in Los Angeles until his death in the late 70's. Grandpa had a brother named Mike that I met once. I'm looking through the records here and found a passenger list that included a Maria Sepulveda who came from Spain on the ship City of Alexandria. From New York the ship went to Mexican ports and Cuba. Maybe this will help a little.

cindy, i am miquel sepulveda,i think we may have matched d.n.a. if u r the one. My grandfather was joseph, born 1892,and fidel my uncle. Fidel had a son joseph, and albert. I may be the son of Joseph and whoever he married, but i cannot be sure. Now i am running it all down. Miquel perfecto sepulveda was my grgrgrandfather. If u r the one i matched with we r related. there was an arturto, the son of joseph, but his birthdate is adst. 1929. anyway, we r close to connecting. Miquel// there was eloise martinez, and her family, they were also related. iwas was born to june sepujlveda, either married to or the daughter of Joe sepulvedas/b/11/25/1917. he was married in nevada and died in oregon. he originallyu came from chile and was a stepson to fidel, who was married to a salazar.

The Leivas are not related to our Pedro, this person died in 1588. Pedro died in Vera Cruz (Zongolica) around 1555 after getting his property back. He had gone with Cortez in the conquest of the Aztec in 1530s. His new wife became the new encomiendada until her death. Their daughter was left nothing and went West to Zacatecas, into the silver mine country and began a life of servitude. He had been in the New World since 1505 he lived here for about 50 years and must have been about 68 when he died.

If your grandparents were both born there I believe there is a strong possiblity that we are related. I recently posted an update regarding my great grandmothers' ancestry. My great grandfather was the municipal judge and historian of the town of Hualahuises so he kept records of legal matters, births, marriages, and deaths. There are files on line at familysearch.org, but they are not translated and are difficult to read. Search under files for Nuevo Leon, Hualahuises and you will see different archives. Let me know if you see anything interesting.

Thanks to my cousin Jeff Herbigs' research we recently found out that this branch of the sepulvedas from Hualhahuises Nuevo Leon, Mexico are direct descendents of last Aztec emperor Moctezuma II. My great grandmother, Guadalupe Trevino Barrera, was a direct descendent of his daughter Mariana/Leonor Moctezuma. Guadalupe was married to Octaviano Sepulveda San-Miguel. Anyone who has connections to children born from this marriage are also related to Moctezuma II, the great Aztec emperor.

Though I was looking for information on my name Perez i noticed yours post for the name Sepulveda. Well it turns out that my sister married(now divorced) into the Family Sepulveda. Her husbands family were from San German, PR. Her ex husband is still alive but I don't know how many of his relatives are still alive. If what you say is true he could be part of your lineage.

No Spanish were in California before the expedition of 1769 with Padre Junipero Serra. The early California Sepulvedas all descend from Francisco Xavier Sepúlveda a Mexican colonial soldier and patriarch of the prominent Spanish Mexican Sepúlveda family in the early days of Las Californias and Alta California. Francisco Xavier Sepúlveda y García was born in Villa de Sinaloa, Mexico. His parents were Juan José Sepúlveda (1720 - ) and Ana María Josefa García (1720 - ). In 1762, Francisco Xavier married María Candelaria de Redondo.[1] In 1781, Francisco and with wife María Candelaria de Redondo and 6 children, accompanied the José de Zúñiga Expedition into upper Las Californias.[2] Francisco Xavier Sepúlveda died in the Pueblo de Los Ángeles and was buried at the Mission San Gabriel Arcángel cemetery on 26 January 1788. Sepúlveda's eldest son, Juan José Sepúlveda (1764–1808), and his fifth son, Francisco Sepúlveda (1775–1853), became progenitors of two distinguished branches of the family.

yes,i think he is buried in bend oregon, fidel in los angeles. i also think their birth dates were reversed. also jose and fidel from delphina born in 1830 ,san juan. they are the ones who ran away, i think?? Joseph born in 1892 was the son of the first jose(1871),fidel 1873-5, and i think he was secretly married befor he met my grandmother, who may be my step grandmother. maybe u can fiqure this out.i have a picture of joseph born 1892,somewhere,if i can find it i will be glad to send it to u.there is another joseph buried in the plaza who i would visit as a boy. he lived in santa monica and owned the sepulveda hotel, but he was married to someone else. these sepulvedas get me all confused ,good luck, michael
