SEXSTON, Daniel ~ Apprentices Daniel Sexston. John Moses and Nathaniel Pond claim Nicholas Session attempted sodomy with them. Nicholas Session claims this is slander. Several witnesses including Joseph Phelps of Windsor testify to sodomy attempts. Nicholas is found guilty but does not receive prison sentence ~ court charges him 300 pounds and releases him on own recognizance.

Record Dated: May 1677
CSL-GA-017

I am not related to this family, I'm just passing on this information, which comes from a book titled "Apprentices of Connecticut 1637-1900.
Mr. Wheatley,
I saw your posting when visiting the Session message board to post one of my own (two places above yours), trying to locate a Margaret Session (of SW Florida?), who is collaterally related, and is a fellow descendant of the Prescott-Renfroe lineage (Wm. Prescott, b. abt 1734, SC). Ms. Session's post of the family tree on Ancestry.com of Dec 1999 led me to discover the ascendants of my Great Grandfather, Bartley Evans Sapp of Florida, back to Wm. Prescott.
By any chance, are you related (and do you know) either Margaret Session as described above, if she is still living, or members of her family, if she is not? If so, I would sincerely appreciate it if you would pass this message on to her/them, and ask her/them to contact me at their convenience at: sjcmsc@knology.net . I would love to have the chance to uncover additional information about the Prescott-Renfroe line, and I could provide additional information on Bartley Evans Sapp's descendants. Thank you very much!

Stephen Cox
Knoxville, TN

Margaret Session of Florida (living)

Trying to find a way to contact Margaret Session (former email address, as of Dec 1999: msession@swfla.infi.net). Have also tried same address @ earthlink.net and mindspring.net, swfla.infi.net's successors -- no luck.
Margaret Session (of SouthWest Florida, presumably) is related to me in the same ancestral line: Prescott-Renfroe, starting with William Prescott, b. ~ 1734 in So. Carolina. My own lineage diverges, I believe, with Matilda A. Matilly Renfroe, b. ~ 1815 in GA, d. 1910, when she married John C. Neil; one of their children was Bartley Evans Sapp, my Great Grandfather (haven't yet determined exactly how my G Gfather, and his brother Enoch, were named "Sapp" when their father and other 3 siblings were "Neil"s -- I hope Ms. Session can help me with that one, as well as with additional information on my/our ancestors). It was her post in Dec 1999 that uncovered for me the ascendants of my G Gfather, back to Wm. Prescott -- thank you, Ms. Session!
If this message reaches her, or a member of her family, please email me at: sjcmsc@knology.net . With best regards,

Stephen Cox
Knoxville, TN
Came across Donald's name in one of the World search listings, but have no idea who the original submitter was. Donald is my cousin. We lost track of the family back in the 1930's and sure would like to get in touch. He had two sisters and a brother none of whom are listed in the tree, so if the original submitter is interested I could give a bit more data, here or e-mail dottiebundy@cs.com Dottie (Sessions) Bundy
