Looking for G-G Grandmother, her name was Parthenia Shawnee, Married Henry Mitchell on 11-14-1867 in Warren Missouri. Both were from Missouri. Parthenia was born approx 1844 or 45 and Henry was born same year. They had several children one of which is Maggie Mitchell born 02-1868, in Missouri Any information regarding any of the names mentioned will be appreciated. Please feel free to email me.

I am the oldest daughter of LaFranz Shawnee, Jr. from the OKC branch of the Shawnee family. I haven't learned much from my father or his parents about our family, but I do remember names I'd heard during my childhood from my mother. I am also seeking information on this side of my family and know that my dad's third and current wife, is seeking information as well. Unfortunately, I don't get to hear from either of them too frequently, so it's my own quest at this point. Feel free to email me any time. Good luck!

Looking for any info, such as parents, siblings, or children of Alton Osborne MOORE. Born 2/5/1916, Loc. Unk. Died Dec, 1983, buried a Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee, OK. He was a WWII US Army vet, served with 1879th Aviation Eng's, Phillipines, & Washington State.

Anybody out there? Currently investigating Charles Shawnee, Oklahoma Territory, daughter Julia Hall, Delaware Indian. He was also known as Neetamooqua and traveled with Col. Freemont to California as his scout. But I need some dates. Be happy to hear from any Shawnees. This side of my family history is sorely lacking, mostly due to incomplete Indian records.
