I have Shickell/Shickle family and have lately gone back to look at my Shickell line, I assume you have found Robert and Margaret in the 1851 census in Ely with their three children. If not please contact me.

Any info on Robert Shickell b 16 May 1784 Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England, d 16 May 1869 England, m Margaret Eads b Mar 1811 England d Mar 1869. Father is Henry Shickell
1796-1846 England

I am interested in any information on Shickell from
Gedney Dyke as my great great grandfather must have lived
there at sometime as his son william was born there
his father Henry was born in Peterbough but ended up in
Chester after a spell in Ireland. Does anyone have more
information on this family.
