James Shipman

May 31, 1983-April 18, 2008

Age: 24

Residence: Adams County

Tribute: James A. "Jimmy" Shipman was born in Liberty, Texas, to Quintin and Janell (Hedrick) Shipman.
He graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 2002.
For the past five years he was a mason for J&C Foundations Inc. in Broomfield.

Mr. Shipman loved the outdoors
and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
He also loved working on junk cars.
He was down-to-earth, enjoyed life and
loved his family.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Lupton.

Mr. Shipman died Friday in Denver.

Survivors: His parents, Quintin and Janell;
his grandparents, Trish and Donald Holmquest of Richmond, Texas, Jim and Patricia Headrick of Dayton, Texas,
and Janice Headick of Denver;
his sisters, Jennifer Shipman of Denver,
Kati Shipman
and Kara Shipman, both of Dayton, Texas,
and Journey Shipman of Richmond, Texas;
and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Wertz.

Preceded in death by: A grandfather, Jim Shipman."

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Monday at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th St. in Brighton.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Fort Lupton.
