Like all such documents that are not scanned and put online, you would either have to go there yourself or hire someone local. I hired a local researcher to do this for me. I provide the date and file number to look at. I wanted 1. A copy of the original 2. If that not possible I wanted a digital photo of the original and 3. If that not possible I wanted a full transcript of the original. I got only what I posted online which is not even a complete abstract of the Estate Settlement.

Go to http://www.shenandoahcountyhistoricalsociety.org/

For a small fee they will digitally photograph documents at the court house. I should have gone there myself. Good luck and let me know how you do.
dhaynes@cox.net
dannyhaynes

How can I go about getting a copy of John David Sine's Estate Settlement? I would only need copied the page/pages that name her as Catherine Sine Cash and mentions heirs. I ask because I live in Tulsa Oklahoma now, although I was born and raised on the east coast. If you know of someone who can help with this, please let me know. I would be glad to reimburse them for the copies. Thank you, Sharon

I do not have any more information than what I've already posted. It is for certain that Catherine Sine Cash is the d/o John David Sine & Elizabeth Bowers. As I already stated I have John David's parents as Adam Sine & Barbara Catherine Houdeshell but I have NO proof of this WHATSOEVER. Just circumstantial data.

As for the Cash Karsh Carsh line, they are a very elusive bunch. There is no doubt that David's parents were Henry b ca 1766 and Barbara b ca 1765 as evidenced by the 1850 Census where Isaac Cash is living with his grandparents.

It is also known from John David Sine's Estate Settlement that both his daughter Catherine and son-in-law David are deceased. Well Catherine for 100% sure and David only by the fact the settlement goes to Catherine' Cash's heirs and David is not mentioned. Could David still be alive in 1849? A very very slim chance.

There are two others during the 1830-1850 time period that I assign to David and Catherine Sine Cash. This would be Margaret Jane and Elizabeth. I THINK but have NO proof these are also the daughters of David Cash.

Margaret married Alexander Anderson and soon moved to Ohio. I show no children for this marriage.

Elizabeth married William S Stephens but I've not done any research on this couple.

Well, sorry I could not be of more help but that's all I have.
dannyhaynes

Matthew Hocker: I have a lot of info on wm & margaret Christy's family but nothing before them. This is what I am looking for. Candy Fletcher has a lot on Ammons. Are you looking for something on the later Wm Sine's if so I will see what I can get you. I am on a trial that ends in about 19 days. So get back quick or try hummerten@gmail.com. The main reason I don't have a sub to Ancestry is they don't have anything that can help me as I am looking for 1700 info. Happy tracking. Ann

There are a lot of researchers of this particular Sine line that would appreciate those papers.

I'm sure someone will want them.

1.
Hello,

I am wondering if this will reach you as I see your post was from 2006, but here goes.

I am an adoptee, born in DC in 1954 to Allan J Sine and Kathleen Hall. From the information that I have, it appears that Allan J Sine was the son of Wilbur W Sine and Louise J Poore. Apparently Allan was placed in an orphanage until about the age of 7 when his grandmother, Julia Poore got him and took him to her home. 1930 census records place the Julia and Louis Poore, Wilbur and Louise Sine and Allan Sine at the same residence. i have a little more info. Please be in touch. Thank you, Brenda

Or get his death cert, it may have his mother and father.

Social Security Death Index about Wilbur S. Sine
Name:	Wilbur S.
I believe this is your Wilbur Sine and his parents and his wife's parents I am NOT SURE IF Reuben Sine is the son of Samuel Sine or Joseph Sine. As of now I have Reuben as the s/o Samuel Sine and Sarah Straus but this may be WRONG. Reuben in the 1870 census may be the nephew of Joseph Sine. This is all I have on your Wilbur but it should give you a good start. Get a death cert from the county or state for Wilbur for absolute confirmation on parents. Then get Annie Sine's death cert, the mother in the 1920 census, for her maiden name and possibly her husband's name. good luck dannyhaynes

1860 Census Rockhill Bucks PA PO Wagonsville pg 634
Samuel Sine 45	PA	Farm Laborer
Sarah 42	PA
Emeline	11	PA
John 7	PA
Reuben	5	PA
Veronica	5	PA
Note: s/o John 1792
??Where is Samuel in 1870???

OR MAyBE

1870 Census Bedminster Bucks PA pg 6 PO Plumsteadville
Sine Joseph 45	PA	Farmer
Leanna 49	PA	KH
Edwin 23	PA	Farm Laborer
Justianna 11	PA	AH
Darias 5	PA	AH
Reuben 16	PA	Farm Laborer
s/o John 1792

1880 Census Gwynedd Montgomery PA pg 126C
Sine Reuben Head	25	PA PA PA	Laborer RR
Annie Wife	27	PA PA PA	KH
Ellen M. I am finding it difficult to find much out about family history from there. Like what country did the Sine{s] family arrive from, and when. Wondering were they with a religous group or indentured. Any info would be appreciated. And would love to shre what info I have.
Pat Sines

I think I have a good idea who his wife Louise (aka Minnie L) family was back to 1900, David and Minnie are just married and living with her parents in 1910. In 1900 she is single and living with her parents
