Elfreda,
What an interesting turn you present! Have you seen Carolyn Syron Valentine's book? If not, you may find something there (and I'll also check). It is available from LDS on microfilm as I alluded to in earlier posting. What is very interesting about your information is the Sirrine connection in Galen/Clyde. That location is a little west of Syracuse and just north of the Thuway. I cannot find a connection right away with George Warren Sirrine/Sirrene, and I'd be most interested if you can rummage through your papers and find a little more. I have very little Syron information, other than the Valentine book, but let me think about it and go through some files. So far I don't find Reed, Casselman, Braden names, but I'll keep looking. The fact you've gone back so far with your James Syron and Elizabeth Reed is super, and perhaps we'll find something. Incidentally, it appears George Warren Sirrine was buried in Mesa, AZ and other descendants in ID, CA, etc. George's brother John, however, wound up in Trumansburg, NY, which is outside of Ithaca on one of the Finger Lakes. Somewhere I think I have a piece of correspondence from a Syron, so let me check for that too. Feel free to contact me directly and we can keep working on this.
Carolyn
