Re: CAROLINE SOLOMONS m. Julius Henry FIEDLER-who was her mom?

Hi I am actually researching another Caroline Solomons (also born 1819) and have come up with some information that may be relevant to your Caroline. I have to stress that while I have done a basic check on the information I haven't done an indepth one, so you may want to, but at least it gives you a start. Good luck.

First one is a birth record
Name - Caroline Solomons
Hebrew name - Keila
Address - New Street Bishopgate
Fathers name - Abraham
fathers Hebrew Abraham b Yecheil.

I have managed to find the above Caroline Solomons born in New Street Bishopgate, father Abraham Solomons, she had quite a few brothers and sisters born at the same address with the same fathers name -:

Berta Jun 11 1823 -
Julius May 5 1830 -
Jeanette Jun 13 1831 -
Sarah Aug 30 1833-1928
Adelaide Sep 5 1834 -1923
Frederika Jan 31 1837 - 1927 (classed as Fredrick and male in the 1851 census)
Sigismund Dec 31 1836
Leopold 1841 - 1915.
Emma 1845 -

This is the Caroline that married Julius Henry Fiedler on 12 Oct 1842. They had 9 children, 3 with the same names as her brothers and sisters. She died 16 Aug 1897 and was buried Willesden Jewish Burial Ground Middlesex.

Hope it helps.
I am having difficulty in tracing relations of my grandfather Moses Solomons c1853-1946 he and his brother Avram Hirsh Solomons came to London UK, possibly via Russia. My grandfather Moses was married about 3 times and had fathered about 13 children. My father Israel Solomons was born in London east end in 1910 to Annie possibly Jacobs, and was the youngest child, he had a full brother Charlie who had a stall in Petticoat lane, a sister Dora who went to Canada, she married Johnny? Ellwood, there were many half brothers and sisters. I would like to hear from anyone who may think or have information especially Charlie Solomons family.

UPDATE Rachel Rose Solomons b abt 1851 daughter of Aaron Solomons England to NYC & Boston MA

New info on Rachel Rose Solomons who married Joseph Michaels. According to family sources she was the daughter of Aaron Solomons. The family emigrated to the US in 1880. Joseph was naturalized in NYC in 1886, and his witness was David Reggle. This family is in the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census with their daughters in vicinity of Boston MA. In 1930 Joseph Michaels was a widower living with his eldest daughter Rebecca Micheals Isaacs in Brooklyn King Co MA, so it is possible that the 1937 death date I have for Rachel Rose Solomons Michaels is incorrect.

Rachel is always listed as "Rose" in US census records 1900-1920. The children of Rachel Rose Solomons and Joseph Michaels were

Rebecca Michaels b 1871 London England m Isidor Isaacs lived Brooklyn NY
Leah Lillian Michaels b 1882 NY m Jacob Tartas lived Boston area
Sarah Sadie Michaels b June 2, 1883 NY m Michael Newman lived Boston area
Estella B Michaels b 1895 NY m Nathan Rood lived Boston area

Anyone connected with this family please contact me
