Re: Stayer descendents

Hi there, I am not sure if this would be of any interest to you or not, but here goes. I am research Strayers in Bedford and Blair County and recently ran across an obituary abstract at the Blair County Historical Library. The abstract said it was for a Joseph S. Strayer born Jan 21 1854 in New Enterprise, PA., died Nov. 29, 1886. After trying to fit this Joseph into my line somewhere, I came to the conclusion that he is actually Joseph S. Stayer, who according to the database of David E. Hesel on Ancestry, ties into your Aaron Stayer's line. I don't know how deep you are digging as far as cousins and all, but let me know if you are interested and I will send it too you. He is of no relation to my line but I will hang on to it for a little while.

Stayer descendents

I am looking for information on the tree of Aaron Stayer 1815-1882, married to Mary Ann Defibaugh Stayer12-31-1818 to 2-8-1901. I am particularly interested in the family of their son John Stayer Sr. married to Sara R Mortimore Stayer, consisting of 2 daughters & 11 sons. I already have most of the information on their son David but not much on any of the others.

Ancestors of Ralph Stier

My g,g,g,g grandfather was Ralph Stier. He was married to a Margartet (last name not yet known). They had a daughter, Sarah, who married Albert Lambert. There may have been some variant spellings of Stier, such as Stayer. Does anyone have any information on any Stayers who may have been part of the Stier family? I would appreciate so much any information anyone might have.
Thank you.
Karen
