I have the exact same story in my family of a Col. Alexander Campbell who had a son, Silas, who married a Princess Stone, daughter of a Cherokee Chief Stone. Col. Campbell was a British agent to the Cherokee in Northeast Alabama during the Revolutionary War. Silas and Princess had a daughter named Anne who married Drury Malone in Alabama. They lives there for a long time and had 7 girls. They moved to Ponotoc MS and died there. I have a lot of information about this family. Please e-mail me. Thanks
