My mother was Averil Stonehouse her farther, my grandfather john stonehouse was one of the last clay pipe makers in hull. I have 3 other sibling Michael Shaun Farrah and roger gurney and Barbara Gurney are my step brother and step sister, from my late mothers first marriage to thomas gurney. my farther was the late Alan Walter Farrah.

Sorry I am unable to help you. The earliest Stonehouse I have been able to find is John Stonehouse (1696), who had one son John 1724 - Margaret

Hello, I am seeking ancestors of Frederick William Stonehouse b.14 Jun 1895, Edmonton, Middlesex, England, d. 14 Jun 1945, killed in a destroyer which was sunk at the famous sinking in Scapa Flow, m. Kate Elizabeth Arnold b. 6 Apr 1897 in Edmonton, Middlesex, England d. 6 Aug 1986 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. Location of marriage: Trinity Church, Tottenham, Middlesex, England. Frederick William Stonehouse was a Sailor and according to the Marriage Registration the son of Robert Thomas John Stonehouse b. 1871 (According to 1901 Census) m. 30 Dec 1913 Harriet Maud Clarisse Miles at St John the Evangelist Edmonton, Middlesex. Robert Thomas John Stonehouse was a milkman according to Frederick's marriage registration.
Any information at all would be helpful, documents or anecdotal...

I was researching silent film actress, Ruth Stonehouse, and some relatives in some older posts wanted to know what happened to her mother Georgia Worster Stonehouse. I found a birth record which listed a mother, Georgia Worster, born in Iowa from Chicago on familysearch.org. I think she fudged her age a bit on the birth record, but it looks like she married a lawyer named Edward Lamb in Chicago.

I am not able to help you but you may have come across a Honor Smithfield Stonehouse b. 15 Feb 1997/98; d. 25 Sept 1864 buried Old St Peters Church, Old Thornaby, Co Durham m. John Oughtred

I seem to have hit a deffinate roadblock with trying to research my family tree...My father Albert Stonehouse(born Nov 1927-Darcy Saskatchewan) His father was Spencer Stonehouse(died 1970's-Gravenhurst, Ontario, Can) married to Ida May(Mae) Bonnis who died a couple of years later; same location. My dad had several siblings..one of whom died around age three and one who died during the war(James)

Stonehouse and Winspear

I am looking for any information and help with the Stonehouse and Winspear families from Harome, Nawton, Kirkby Moorside, Oswaldkirk and other surrounding areas.
Interested in any information on Elizabeth Stonehouse who had a son called Fred Stonehouse b.1883 Harome. Was brought up by his grandparents Henry Winspear and Mary Stonehouse, (shown on census as WINAPEAR). Would like to know who was the parents of Elizabeth where, seems a mystery.

I am descended from Philip Stonehouse and Elizabeth Eden(married Whitby 1786) which churchyard in Lythe are they buried ANY info you have would be appreciated. I have only just started this geneaology hobby but it is fascinating. I know that philip was a joiner,but would love to know where they lived in Lythe as i go there a couple of times a year and would love to see the house where they lived.

I have a little more information to work with. James Hilton Day was born on Oct. 11, 1917 in Manchester, N.H. He died in June, 1953. He was son of Charles H. Day and Sadie Bent Forbes. He married Jeannette Stonehouse and may have had other wives as well. She was daughter of Albert Mace Stonehouse, who was born on June 24, 1879 in Lexington, Indiana. Albert died on Aug. 5, 1944 in Nashua, N.H. He married Jessamine M. Boden on Oct. 2, 1922 in Nashua, N.H. He was son of Adam Euart Stonehouse and Angenette Josephine Mace. Any further information on Albert Mace Stonehouse, his wife, and his children, including Jeannette ( Stonehouse ) Day , would be very much appreciated. I already have the rest of the Stonehouse line traced back to Scotland. Can anyone help?

James Hilton Day married Jeannette Stonehouse. Jeannette was daughter of Albert Mace Stonehouse. James was son of Charles Day. Does anyone have these persons in their Stonehouse genealogical research? I have no further information to work with. Any help would be very much appreciated.

My mother's family in order of age were:
Jack, Alice, Mirtle, Mildred, James, Albert, Anita
I believe Aunt Mid is the only one still alive. Is this the same as your father-in-laws family.
James was married in England during the war to Nancy and they have a daughter Ann. He was killed before the wars end. All the rest of the family except my mother lived in Ontario.
Grandpa & Grandma lived and are buried in Gravenhurst.

I read your message and my husband's father was Albert stonehouse.His parents were Albert Stonehouse and his mother Sarah Joan Allem.His grandparents were Spencer Stonehouse and Ida Mae Bonnis.
He was named after his grandfather Spencer.
My Husband was born in Bracebridge,but his younger brother was born in Darcy.Sask.
I have the brothers and sisters of his father Albert.
Albert and Joan were divorced later and they both remarried Albert married Madeline Dunn and Joan married Geroge Staines.
If you would like the rest of the names let me know.

my grandfather was Spencer Stonehouse and Grandmother Ida Mae Bonnis. My mother Alice was their oldest daughter and she had a younger brother named Albert. She was also born in Darcy SK.

My grandfather was Spencer stonehouse. Grandmothers name was Ida Mae Bonnes, they moved from Darcy SK to Gravenhurst ON. My mother was his oldest daughter Alice, she had a younger brother Albert.

I am trying to find out the parentage of Frederick Donald Stonehouse born 1927. Father I believe was Alpheus Stonehouse but do not know the name of the mother who died while he was very young of T.B., he was put in an orphanage but his great aunt Grace Bystrom took him out of it and raised him. Perhaps some of the Bystrom researchers would have some information?

Hi, my name is Paul, I have been working youth ages 11 to 14. I drive by this cemetery every day, and I think to myself what a mess. I have contact a man about cleaning it up a bit. I am with a local church( Baptist). I would love to see some pictures of the people which whom are buried there. I am waiting for permission from a man named Gary. I would like any information on the family. If you would be willing to help make the cemetery a nicer place to see, we would love your help, if we proceed to clean up some of the trees and shrubs .

Hi Paul:

I took some pictures through the fence a couple of years back. I was not able to see all the stones. I have not been inside the cemetery. If a clean up does happen, I would appreciate being notified. I will participate if it does not conflict with my work hours. I would also like a chance to carefully photograph each head stone before time takes more wear on them.

Have info that shows Edward Stonehouse, born June 13, 1835, Lobo Twp., Ontario. Parents were David Stonehouse and Hannah Charlton. Have seen a lot of Charlton information and some Stonehouse info that does not include my Edward. Has anyone heard of this Edward?
