Hello cousin Ginger,

I've recently updated my info on our STRANTZ ancestors. I found that they arrived 16 Jul 1859 aboard the ship "Ottilie". Much of the BURKHARDT family arrived on the same ship, and married into the STRANTZ family in Tippecanoe Co., IN.

Christoph von STRANTZ. Born abt 1813 in Kieselbach, Sachsen-Weimar, Germany. Christoph died in Tippecanoe Co., IN, on 24 Apr 1878.

Christoph married Anna Margaretha KOCH. Born abt 1817 in Sachsen-Weimar, Germany.

They had the following children:
i.	Anna Katherine (~1838-<1900)
ii.	Johann (1839-1915)
iii.	Frederick (1841-1910)
iv.	Katherine Elizabeth (1846-1923)
v.	Anna Margaretha (1848-)
vi.	Magdalena (1851-1884)
vii.	Pauline. Born abt 1854 in Sachsen-Weimar, Germany.
viii.	Valentine (1854-1924)
ix.	Wilhelm. Born in Jan 1859 in Kieselbach, Sachsen-Weimar, Germany. Wilhelm died in USA bef 1 Jun 1860.

You can find my (slightly outdated) information on Worldconnect
http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&...

I'll be uploading an update to Worldconnect within the next couple of days.
Looking for information on my GG grandmother and her family line. She was Katherine Elizabeth Strantz, b 26JAN1846. What I have shows her parents as Christopher VonSTRANTZ and Johanna COOK. Katherine married Michael Tetzloff, Jr. Most of the Tetzloff's seem to have been from Pulaski County, IN. Would appreciate anything that may offer more information.
