I visited streets when I was younger. Bill Streets. His son had a car accident and his wife was in a home. Would you know who this is. They were my Dad's relatives and they lived in Elks Garden WV

James W. Streets, 81, of Myrtle Beach, and, until 1986, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, in Conway Medical Center in Conway, S.C. Born Sept. 3, 1929, in Versailles, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Diehl) Streets. A retired foreman in the Tin Shop at U.S. Steel National Tube in McKeesport, James was a Korean War veteran of the Air Force and a member and past commander of the White Oak American Legion. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth M. (Sanetta) Streets; daughter, Debra Lewis, of Myrtle Beach; son, James E. Streets, of Myrtle Beach; daughter, Margaret Streets, of Boston, Pa.; son, Ronald J. Streets, of Wall; daughter, Barbara Jo (Norman) Carper, of Monessen; grandchildren, Scott Lewis, Brian (Nicole) and Amy Carper, Rachel (Mike) Beckerman, Laura, Jessica and Ashley Streets and Angela, Christina and Holly Kennell; great-grandson, Timothy Yackle; and aunt, Aldara (Edward) Earnest. James was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Kennedy. Friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4504 Walnut St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Carr officiating. ALEDO, Ill. - Anna M. Streets, 91, of Aledo, died Friday, March 24, 2000, at the Mercer County Nursing Home in Aledo. Services will be at the First Christian Church in Keithsburg with the Rev. Charles A. Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Greenmound Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the Mercer County Food Pantry or the Mercer County YMCA Children's School. Fippinger Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Street was born Oct. 30, 1908 in Sweden, the daughter of Axel and Beda Osterberg Fredrickson. She attended the local schools and married William E. Streets on Dec. 27, 1933. He died on March 30, 1979. She was a homemaker and was a 50-year member of the Keithsburg Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Pestle of Aledo; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, Pete Fredrickson of Monmouth and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Rodney; two great grandchildren; and two brothers.

Garfield, Delbert. and me.I am going to Moatsville next week and I am going to the cem. to see if I canfind Brooks grave. I am looking up the Lawrence Family who were from Lincolnshire and then moved to Nottinghamshire (Kirkby in Ashfield) Father was George (born c1847) who married Emma Lundy. Children were Henry Lundy, Maria, Jane, Charles. Charles married Fanny Hurt in 1897 and then Alice Elizabeth Streets after Fanny's death. I can find no record at all for any of the Lawrence's - I'm beginning to think they were beamed down from the US Enterprise!!. I hope someone will be able to help.

Have you heard of a Cynitha Ann STREET born1812 .I do not know where she was born or who her parents or siblings were.She was my g-grandmother.She married Elijah Quillen.I seem to think she was fromWV-KY-NC-VA--some where may be in Tenn.They ended up in IN. ELIZABETH F STREETS

GRANTSVILLE — Elizabeth Frances Streets, 75, formerly of New Creek Drive, Keyser, W.Va., died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at the Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home, Grantsville, where she had been a resident since 1978.

Born on Jan. 28, 1927, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Staggs) Leatherman. Mrs. Streets was also preceded in death by one grandson, Anthony Faidley.

Mrs. Streets was a homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter, Judy Faidley and husband Ronald, Finzel; two sons, Ronald Lee Streets Sr. and wife Lisa Ann, LaVale, and Raymond Streets Sr. and wife Rosemary, San Mateo, Fla.; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Zummo, Mine Run, Va., Ida Werner, Finzel Road, Frostburg, Ronald Streets Jr., LaVale, Raymond Streets Jr., Satsuma, Fla., and Barbara Thomas, San Mateo; nine great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.

Friends be will received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Family and friends can also go online at durstfuneralhome.com to send expressions of sympathy or to find directions to the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Daniel C. Agnew officiating.

Interment will be in the Emmanuel Methodist Cemetery, Route 40 West.

I belive that I may have some however it would be a small amount of information on your William Streets... If I am correct William Streets was a brother to Delbert Streets who would have been my grandfather by marriage Delberts Daughter is my mother-in-law and Iris was William's wife if I have the correct William he was in the service and that is where he met his wife Iris... in England and they were married I am not sure if they were married in England or here in the USA... I do know that Iris is still living, and that William has only passed away about two or maybe three years ago...? does any of this information sound like what you are looking for? also I have William's father as Newton Streets and his mother is Alcinda Moats? if this rings a bell let me know I may even be able to get you in touch with Iris.

My mother was a Streets before she married. Her mother Virgie Clingerman married Herbert Calvin Streets on 8 June 1920. They divorced and Herbert married a woman named Rose and had 12 other childen. I've been researching to find the ancestors of my mother Betty Streets, born 16 Feb 1921. Do these names ring a bell? We could be kin.

Did Herbert have a sister named Mae & a brother Clarence and was his father Riley? My Mom could have been wrong about the Rose name. She is aware that there are step/half sisters/bros alive somewhere but when she married my Dad, his family became hers as well.

William Streets (b) 22 Sep 1837 (d) 1917 in Tucker Co Wv. is my gg-grandfather. I have visited his grave site in Mt Pleasant Cem, Clover, Tucker Co. Wv. In addition to date of birth it also has "PVT. Co F. 15th WV Vols" He was married to Sarah Ann Firth (b) 1824 (d) 1932. Was the son of Samuel Streets (b 19 Aug 1813 (d) 12 Mar 1906 and Anna Sueanna Haller (b) 22 Mar 1815 (d) 22 Nov 1904.
