      <description>The following are abstracts of records of genealogical interest taken from the records of the Cherokee Indian Agency in Tennessee in the years 1801-1816. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Martin Task having charge of a f. boat with his family have permission to descend the Tennessee to the mouth of the Ohio &amp;amp; up the Ohio forty miles to which place the boat is destined. 26 April 1803 [signed] Timothy Meigs Clk for Return J.
