Thomas was a shoe/boot maker in West St who had lost one leg in a quarry accident in his youth.They had 7 children who became adults: James (Jim) b 1869, Lizzie b1871, Thomas Charlie b 1875, Willie (Bill) b1877, Jessie b1881, Mabel b1884 and Syd b 1888. In particular I am having difficulty finding information on Jessie, who married Jack Lewis of Tavistock, then went to Canada perhaps without him, and Mabel who married Harry Gibbins of Exmouth.
