I am researching my family tree and have traced it to Tharby's in Shoreditch/Hackney area and a possible link to Manuden..

sorry sarah..despite having the same rare name, the Tharbys from Manuden and the ones from Wareside & Hunsdon only connect back in the 1600's. There was one family then of multiple children, who then spread themselves about Essex and Hartfordshire and began the different branches.

i am certain that we have been in touch before but havuing lkived abroad for some years and loosing several comps in the process, by virus etc and of course the constant power failures which comps do not like I now do not know where I am with my ancestry tree and am seriously thinking of deleting it and starting again. thankfully my GR tree seems to be ok.
the main names for me are Fords from wiltshire and London, wrenn form Hertfordshire naturally many others are also on my tree.
if you do recall me and you have anything to hand which you are willing to share it would be great news.
