I'm looking for any information about my great-great grandmother, Frances Tobias (born March 1867 somewhere in PA) who married Frank Emerson. Frances may have died in 1914.

I have found in the 1870 Census a Frances Tobias living in Titusville, Crawford County, PA who was 3 years old. She is listed with Asa H. Tobias (age 65), Rosetta (age 25), Minnie (age 4), and Eugene (age 9/12).

The 1880 Census (Crawford County) has a Frances M. Tobias (age 13) living as a boarder in the home of Aron and Mary Gibbons.

I've found Asa in multiple census records (1850-1900), beginning in Steuben County, NY, and ending in Crawford County, PA (assuming it's the same Asa in each of these cases). One of Asa's children is Daniel (age 9 in 1850).

The 1880 Census for Steuben County has a Daniel Tobias (age 31) married to Rosetta (age 24). No children are listed. The ages don't match at all with Asa's son Daniel, or the Rosetta who was with Asa in 1870 (age there was 25), but I have found other discrepancies in the census records regarding age.

Does anyone know if Asa's son Daniel was married to Rosetta and they were the parents of Frances? Or maybe have other information that will lead me down another path? What I have here is not really adding up for me.
