Hi. I know this a long time since the original post, but i haven't been back to this site in ages.... my previous sign-on was bbmj46, which is the one you saw.
I have made much progress since my first message. I have found my grandfather's name was Charles Ernest (not Charles F). He was born in Missouri on Dec 31, 1883 & died in Sault Ste Marie, Mich July 9, 1929 (liver disease). My grandmother's maiden name was Julia Mary Pryor.. born in Sault Ste Marie on July 26, 1892 & died there on April 6, 1929 (one week after childbirth). I have even seen their graves. They left the 10 children, who were then raised by her sisters. In tracing back through the ages, it does lead to the Taliaferro line.

Their daughter Margaret Jane Tolliver was
my grandmother. I have recently met a couple more tolliver cousins. One was doing my hair and we got to talking about
Sharp's Chapel and discovered we were Tolliver and Shoffner cousins.

Yes I can ,,,, my mother was Virginia Frances Tolliver Bourland she passed in 1990. She was the daughter of Clarinda and Andrew Tolliver. Clarinda Travis Tolliver was born May 27, 1885, and passed Jan. 6, 1961 I was 2 yrs old so I don't remember her. Andrew Tolliver born Dec. 3, 1870 and passed Dec 21, 1950. I wasn't born yet. Then Hiram L. Tolliver was his father and he married Rachel Defoe which I haven't any info on. I hope this is a start. Thank you kindly for the response. I know Wade Hampton Tolliver born Sept. 24, 1816 passed in 1882 and he married Malinda Stewart who died in 1880. Thats it for now. Hope that you can be of some help. Would love to know what they looked like. Karen Mckendry
