We are an Italian speaking, English family who have recently moved to live in Itri, which is near to Minturno.

We fell in love with the area when on holiday a few years ago, and have a passion for all (nearly all !!!) things Italian.

My mother is Adalgisa Conte (married and became Treglia) (Mother Vincenza Conte, and Father Pasquale Conte) My mother died in aug 2002
My father is Franco Treglia (Not sure of mother and father name but I know they both have passed away)

They are both from Mintorno, Italy.

They were married in 1975 and had two sons, one Joseph, and me Robert. Please let me know if you have any additional information about the history of the name and of who you are related to. Thank you.

I was incorrect in assuming that my Grandmother's maiden name was Treglia. It is actually Tartaglia. However, Treglia is located within our family's history somewhere. Possibly cousins of one of my Grandparents. My Great Grandfather was Stefano Mallozzi, if that means anything. Please let me know if you have anything on him. I am very interested in my family's history.

My grandparents are from Minturno. My Grandfather's name was Antonio Mallozzi and I believe my Grandmother's maiden name was Antonia Maria Treglia. I am trying to get this confirmed but I do know that the name Treglia is related somehow. I am curious of what ever you may know concerning this. Please write back. Thank you.

I am looking for info on Ben Treglia (married to Francis)who lived in Rochester PA in 1920-1930. My grandfather Guieseppe Vento and his cousins (the Conte's) immigrated from Minturno to Rochester PA. The address listed on the passenger manifest is the Treglia residence on Connecticut Ave.

I am a Mallozzi, my father was born in Mintourno, Italy which is just 2 hours south of rome. It is a beautiful little city nesstled on a mountain containing villages called Pulcherini, Tufo, and is right next to Scauri. I have been to Mintourno several times. Mintourno bostes a beautiful view of the Tyrennian Sea, and the best Mozzarella di Buffalo you have ever tasted in your life! My fathers name is Pasquale. We have an aunt in "goppa mintourno, bashu la cappella" named Maria Mallozzi married to Victorio something or other!!
My mother was also born in Mintourno her name is Antonietta Stendardo. She has a cousin named Maria Stendardo and another cousin named Gaetano Graziano. If that is of any interest to anyone here please feel free to drop me a line at my email!

Hello I am a Mallozzi and my grandparents are from Naples and or around that region. The moved to Brooklyn I believe and now live in the LA. My father is William Mallozzi, brother to Johnny and Arlene Mallozzi. Their parents are Ollie and Bill Mallozzi.

My husband's grandmother (still living at 96) was Assunta Patrizio (married Giovanni Adipietro and had only one son), daughter of Giuseppe Patrizio and Allesandra Conti. They had at least the following children:

Assunta
Angelina (died at 9 mos)
Raphael
Ferdinando
(I know there were at least one other sister, and one other brother.)

Giuseppe Patrizio was the son of Raphael Patrizio and Francesca Mallozi. Their children were:

Giuseppe
Francesco
Raphael
Antonia
Vitoria

Assunta's mother, Allesandra Conti was the daughter of Ferdinando Conti and Philomena Mallozzi. There children were:

Allesandra
Maria
Lucia
Marianna
Antonio
Domenico
Giovanni

Domenico and Giovanni Conti came to America around 1910 and settled in Utica, NY. They supposedly married sisters. Between them they had 20 kids.

My name is Mario Mallozzi, my father was born in Minturno Italy in 1927, my grandparents were Mariano Mallozzi and Maria Grace Mallozzi (was Maria Grace Patrizzio) My grandfather came to the U.S in the early 1920s and worked the railroads on the east coast for several years.He went back to Italy and died around 1930, at the age of 36 or 37 My father came to the U.S. In the early 1950s with his brother John and sister Rose They started life in the U.S. in Newark N.J.
