I spoke to my mother, Cathy, about the info and gave her your name. She said that she knew you and Sonny. I believe he would come by now and then to see my grandparents when I was a child. My mom was actually quite excited to hear that other family members were interested in our shared history.

I have just now begun a tree and started to fill out as much information as I have. It is a slow process trying to fill in information on so many people. I will try to move as speedily as possible and think I have listed the tree to be shared. It is named Humphreys/Robinson family tree. I will remember to send you another post when I have entered more information.

My mother,Irma, and Father, Ray Trego. (Leonard's son and Lilly's brother) knew Julie Kramer very well. Julie use to babysit me occasionally when I was very small. I met her and Paul Robinson years later in North Beach, MD.

I never met my father's relatives (except for Annie, his mother) but would like to know more
to make my tree complete. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I read your posts on both Annie and Leonard Trego. My grandmother was Catherine Julia (Julie) (Kramer) Robinson, daughter of Lillian Mae (Trego) Kramer. I have recently renewed my search for family history, which I started back in high school. Don't have much more info than you do, but would be able to fill in details of Lillian Mae Trego's decendants. Contact me if you would like the info.

Is anyone working on sources for this old area? Peter is said to be born ca 1655--I have been looking for some sourcing for date and even country--all I have read gives Fullerton Md --seems early to me for Md --but I doubt France as well

For his death date 1730 is given--at Swarthmore I found deeds for Peter selling some of his land to son William in 1725--In 1727 said William sells to brother James that parcel and more--on the front of the deed it says Peter Trego deceased --ergo he died 1725 to 1727 and not 1730 From location of his farm--what I think is where Tyler Arboretum is now located --he likely is buried at Middltown MM a short distance away

Anyone working on this??

I am trying to navigate from my maternal grandparents in law - Alfred Lewis Trego (b 1907) son of Horace O Trego (1870-1937). Horace O Trego m. Clara C Unknown (1872-1956) and both are buried in St Marks Cemetery, Honey Brook, Chester County, PA.

What I have tentatively is: father James Trego b. between 1925 and 1933, mother Catherine/Katherine/Kathryn. Father of James may be Jacob Trego (b 1767) - Jacob is son of William Trego (b 1726) Jacob is grandson of William Trego (b 1693) and Jacob is gr grandson of Peter Trego (b 1655). In this decendency the one apparent flaw is that Jacob would have fathered James at the age of 66. THANK YOU!!!

Did you ever find out which cemetery the Trego statue is in? I am looking for that info myself and plan to drive over and look at the Morris Cemetery as one possbility. I know the monument is quite tall with a life size figure of an old man holding a flower pot in his left hand.

Hello Beverly, I am currently researching the life and work of W. T. Trego and am very interested in the fact that you own one of his paintings. I am trying to assemble a list of his known works and their current locations. We hope to honor him with a PA State historical marker.

Could you please get in touch with me? I can perhaps tell you quite a bit about the work you have, as well as about the artist himself. Thanks.
Joe Eckhardt

I am looking for decendants of Charles Trego, who was with the Wild West Show and also was a ranch foreman for Buffalo Bill. Although I am not a relative, I need help authenticating a sign that Buffalo Bill made in 1895, and was hung in the W.F.Cody GARpost in Wallace Nebraska. There is a note with the sign, containing a signature of M. Trego son or daughter of Chas Trego. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am a decendent of John Gottlieb and Maria trego. They did live in Chester County, Pa. They are buried in Phoenixville, Morris Cemetery, Pa. I have all decendents of all the children. Maria is listed in a trego book in chester county historical society, but they misspelled her husbands name(keebler). Contact me for more information.
