have just started to research Trevitt family tree, and My grandfather a Charles William Trevitt was also one of 15 children born (some in shropshire, some in Yorkshire) and wonder if your William Trevitt might be one of his siblings. Have only managed to find 11 of the 15 children so far. My great grandfather was Richard Trevitt (Charles's father) and my Great Great Grandfather was Aaron Trevitt. I also believe that Richard was one of possibly 13 to 15 children, and maybe your William could have been born to Aaron and Elizabeth Speak.

Hi Ron,

My William Trevitt was born Birmingham in 1834 and his parents were Henry and Catherine Trevitt. The family emigrated to the USA and can be found in the 1850 census lvg in Allegheny. I believe Henry must have died, but Catherine (spelt Trivett) can be found in Mercer in the 1860 census.
