I have a reference about Mary in the "History of the Trowbridge Family in America",by F.B. Trowbridge, but it only lists that she was the daughter of William and Mehitable Blakesley Trowbridge and was married in 1766 to John Beecher of West Haven.
It lists on another page where Nathaniel Beecher married Abagail Trowbridge, in 1761, so this probably was a brother of John who married Abagail. If you will send your email to me I will try to send these pages to you, if you send your snail mail I will post them to you. Or if you have a library with genealogy materials they might have the book and you can see for yourself the pages are 126 and 128.

I believe they lived in the New Haven, CT area, though I am not completely sure. She is a relative of Harriet Beecher (Stowe). I can try to provide more info upon request. And info would be appreciated!!!

I could find no thread in the History of The Trowbridge Family in America for John Francis Trowbridge and Anna Pearl Tate. The book was published in 1908 and compiled much earlier than that. So really your inquiry was for after it was written. There were 3 John Frances Trowbridges listed with birth dates of 1852, 1858, & 1867. None of them had a thread of info for your John Frances. Sorry I coouldn't help you.

Hello!

Looking for any info on Kenneth & Rick Trowbridge. Rick was born to Roscoe Ward & Doris (Brattain) Kellar around 1952; Kenneth was his stepfather. Kenneth was born to John Francis Trowbridge & Anna Pearl Tate on June 14th, 1912 in Stetler, Alberta, Canada, and died June 7th 1959 in Seattle, Washington. Doris and Kenneth were married for less than a year when Kenneth died.

Rick is my uncle, but does not know it; my mother (Janice Aletha Cartwright) was given up for adoption 1-2 years before he was born.

If you are looking to identify the photos, I would suggest contacting the young lady who commented that she used to visit her aunt or great aunt Evelyn. She was able to identify the large photo and I think she identified the smaller ones as well. I was going to send her these photos. I don't recall now if I did or not. But she knew who at least some of the people were.

I have The History of the Trowbridge Family in America, It states that John T. Trowbridge & Co was the name of his company. It also states that he had an interest in the Erie Canal and owned or controlled about eighteen vessels on the Lakes, and was called the "Commodore of the Lakes" It is quite and interesting article and if you have not seen this, If you will contact me, I will mail the page from the book. vchase@earthlink.net

I sense that there were two Mabel Trowbridges. It seems your Mabel Trowbridge is not my Mabel Jarrard Trowbridge.

My Mabel's maiden name was JARRARD, daughter of William JARRARD and Louisa, born about 1888 New York (Washington County, Fort Edward?) where she shows up in 1900 and 1910. She settled in Reeds Ferry, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. She married a Ralph Trowbridge.

Most Trowbridges are connected. Checking my family file I do not find your William; however, my information is not complete. While my files are available online the hosts do not always allow for downloading full geds. If you would like a copy of my file, feel free to contact me off board at the email shown in my profile.

Hello,

I have Trowbridge ancestors from NW OHIO. The earliest being William (Sarah Leverton) Trowbridge. He died in 1888. They had 3 girls and then 2 boys: George (Barbara) and Cyrus (Helen). Any association there? On the census it says his parents were born in England. I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you,

Sharon
