My ggrandmothers name was
Francisca Garcia. She married Juan Navarro. I was wondering if you know ANYTHING about her...such as..., how many children they had & what their names were & where they were born. I was researching my grandfather’s death records from the funeral home he was laid out at...and it said his mothers name was Francisca Garcia. My grandfather was born in 1910. His name was Esteban Navarro.My grandfather married my grandmther-Margarita Farias. Sound familiar? Please e-mail me...margarita@twmi.rr.com...thank-you!

My great great grandmother was named Fransisca Celaya de Garcia. I don't recognize the other names. where did your Fransisca come from? Where did she live?

My grandmother, Clara Escalante married my grandfather Tiofilo Urbano in 1907.

The family believes that Maria was from the region of Calabria, the village of Cosenza in Southern Italy. Her parents were "Joe" Rossano (maybe spelled Rosano) and Louisea D'Urzo(maybe spelled D'Urso). They were also from Cosenza. I don't have any other information on them. my grandfather Luigi Piazza of Barrafranca was good friends with the urbano's. Unfortunately I don't know the first name because my mother used to call him Mr. Urbano.My grandfather was born 8/20/1884 and came to new york around 1907 got married to Hedwiga (meni ) ofiara, went back to Barrafranca. My mother was born there in 1912 and Uncle Joe in 1915. They moved back to Jeannette Pa. in 1927.Luigi died in 1930. Maybe someone in your family would find this familiar.

My father's family surname is Urbano. They are from Barrafranca, Sicily. The family came to New Jersey in the late forties. I'll ask around.

I'm looking for any information pertaining to any Urbano's that have a lineage to Sicily. My father's family is from Castellammare Del Golfo. I know little about his family, except for the fact that they came to New York in 1968. There are still Urbano's living in this town in Italy when I visited 5 years ago, but due to a language barrier much information could not be obtained. My father is Leonardo urbano and his father is Francesco Urbano who married Gaetana Messina. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on DOMINIC URBANO b: 10 Nov 1867 d: 16 Jan 1951 who married MARIA ROSEANO (not sure of the spelling of the last name)b: 28 Aug 1878 d: 15 July 1936. They had at least one son JOHN RICHARD URBANA b: 5 Dec 1909 d: 25 May 1974.

Any additional information on ancestors names, dates of birth-death-marriages, or location of events would be greatly appreciated.
