We could be related.My family is from San Jose de Otates, Guanajuato. It is about half an hour from San Francisco del Rincon, Guanajuato.And is very close to Arandas, Jalisco.Many of the Valadez live in a village next to San Francisco del Rincon called La Loma. And many immigrated to Wisconsin, and Chicago, Illinois.

Hi! My grandmother is Herlinda Valadez and she was born in Aguascalientes around 1932 Her mother's name was Maria and father's was Pedro. My grandma's mother gave her away when she was born... We don't have any family connections other than an uncle named Filimon Valadez-Prieto or Prieto Valadez. He has now passed. They spent some time in the D.F. and eventually moved to Zacatecas. If you have any information,please pass it along. I would love for my grandma to reconnect with family.

I am looking for family related to Vicente Valadez b. ~1860s near Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico (maybe a pueblo called Santa Maria). He was married to Trinidad Sanchez. They had several daughters and two sons: Aurelio and Rodrigo (b. 1887). Vicente moved to San Francisco del Rincon, Gto., Mexico because of the Cristero War (~1926-1929).

Looking for info about Carmen Lopez who married Alberto Valadez in Mexico about 1889. She was born in Mexico about 1873-1880 and died in Chicago Jan 23 1962. I would like to know who her children were and what happened to them. She had a grandson named Rudolph Moreno. He was the informant on her death certificate.
She had a son Jose/Joe/Joseph who was born in 1903 in Mexico and disappeared abt 1942. He was married to Anna Campos in 1927 and they lived in Chicago in 1930. Jose left his family about 1942 and I would like to find out what happened to him.

I have found a "Carmen Valdez" in California in 1920 and 1930 census but I can't be sure that this is "my" Carmen

Can anyone help me. My Grandfather was Wenceslao Valadez, born in Bustamante Nuevo Leon in 1888. He was a coalminer in the McAffee Mines in the Bridgeport area in Wise county. I am looking for his parents and would like to know what happened to him. I heard that he died in or about 1933 in Mexico. Please help if you can.

Look in the 1930 census. I found a couple Agnes and John Valadez were the parents of a child named Isabel. They lived in Bridgeport, Wise County, Texas. Hope this helps

tonia… I have NO IDEA if you still come back on here, but if you do, I'd love to speak with you and find out more info. My great-grandmother's maiden name was Petra de La Cruz, and my great-grandfather's name was Mariano Valadez. They lived in the San Antonio area and had about 6-7 kids, one among them Adolph Cruz Valadez.

I had not been aware of her being married prior to my great-grandfather, but my boyfriend's cousin who is a geneaologist did ask if she had been married prior. I thought it implausible for that to be so… however, if your grandfather states he had a stepfather by this name, then we're some type of cousin.

Searching for a lost aunt named Isabel Valadez born in 1904 in Texas. The only record I is the 1910 census living in Uvalde, Texas. Her Father was Jose Maria Valadez and her mother was Rosa Rodriquez (his second wife). When both parents died her older step sister (Juliana Valadez) ran her off. My mother (Roberta Valadez)and my uncle (Marcos Valadez)were her full sister and brother and told me that the last second-hand information they got of her whereabouts was that she was in San Antonio Texas (about 1925) and had married someone with last name of Johnson.

I am looking for Wenceslao Valadez. He is my Grandfather. He was born in the late 1800's and was married to Anita Diaz. The had nine, children Isabel, who died at about the age of three,Pablo, who was killed in one of the WW's, Eliud,who may have changed his last name, because he went to live with relatives after his fatner died, Dolores (Lola), +Ruben, Emma, +Irene,+Jose (Joe), and Lydia. I was told that he died around 1932 or 33 when he took his family to visit his family in Valadez's, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

As a general rule all hispanics in the USA and Mexico an latin america and Spain are related to the Asturian Monarchy. I have done quite a bit of research on this as I am a direct descendant of the original Asturian kingship.
Almost all Valadez in USA come from Mexico and all Valadez in Mexico come from Asturias, Spain.

My family is from Aguascalientes Mexico. My great-great- father was Vicente Valadez he was killed by the Federales around 1900-1910 in Aguascalientes. He was born 1840-50. Born January 23, 1969 the oldest of 4 boys ended his long hard fight with Non-Hodgkin ' s Lymphoma on February 12, 2004 he was surrounded by his devoted family and friends at San Diego Hospice. Frank graduated in 1987 at Patrick Henry High in San Carlos. Frank was an employee of Costco wholesale for 12 years where he made numerous friends. Frank will be missed greatly by family and all his loved ones. He is a wonderful reminder to all of us how precious life is and how important it is to cherish every moment. Our strong Warrior was called up to God early and we only count the days when we might see him again. He is survived by his mother, Anna and father, Paul Valadez, his brothers David, John, and Carlos and chosen brothers Damon, Teran, his sister Monica, his three nieces and three nephews, and all of his very supportive aunts and uncles and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of San Diego at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18. Leonardo Valadez, 31, of Imperial Beach died Wednesday. He was born in San Diego and was a sales representative at Road Runner Sports.

Survivors include his mother, Petra McCrory of Pine Valley; father, Jorge of Imperial Beach; sister, Patricia Field of Chula Vista; brother, Jorge Jr. of Imperial Beach; grandmothers, Maria Pichardo of Chula Vista and Ana Valadez of Imperial Beach.

Visitation: noon to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow, Community Mortuary, 855 Broadway, Chula Vista.

Mass: 10 a.m. Monday, Our Lady of Guadalupe, 345 Anita St., Chula Vista.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.

I cannot find any information on Jose Maria Valadez and Juana Malto. The only information that I have is that Jose Maria Valadez was born on the Valadezes Ranch in Camargo, Tamp. in 1825. I thought that I had found information, but at this moment I cannot find it. We will be there for the Valadez reunion. My 84 yr. aunt is also attending.

The Valadez' [La Bandera, Palito Blanco, Tx] are going to hold a family reunion. There will be a memorial will be placed at the La Calaveras cemetery [One hundred years]. There will be a mass in Ben Bolt, Tx. and a dinner afterwards.I shall have more information a little later on in the week. Hi: I am also looking for a Juanita Valadez who married Manuel Becerra.
They had a son (maybe other children) named Genaro Becerra born in 1896 or so.
in Jalisco, Mexico. Genaro married Maria Hernandez and moved to Houston, TX.
Then had 4 children: Francisco, Paul, Aurora and Estella Becerra.
Lived in Kansas City, MO, Chefield, Ill and Chicago, Illinois. Francisco is my father who is 85 yrs old and still living but he doesn't know much of anything about his family except Maria his mother had a brother Cetrinino Hernandez.
If you know any thing at all... please let me know. I don't even know what race we are. Just of Mexican Nationality.

I am sorry to tell you that I have no other information on my father's family. I was hoping that someone would help me that lives in Jalisco, Mexico or someone that goes there to visit family.
You have the last name of my grandmother, Maria Hernandez and your grandfather has the last name of my grandfather's mother, Maria Valadez.
I did send an email to a person on Rootsweb.com's message board that has the name Becerra. I am hoping to get some help there. It mentions that the Becerra's there are from Spain.
Maybe someday we will get lucky and find out who our families are. It is so hard for me as I didn't learn to speak Spanish. My father and grandfather spoke the language. Anyway I didn't learn the language because in the neighborhood we moved to, there was no one to speak Spanish to. I just wish that I had learned it anyway as it would have helped me in my research. Sooooooo if I get a positive answer from the person that I wrote to, I will definately let you know, okay?
Who knows, maybe WE are related to each other. I know that some of the names were very common but we do have two names in common. My grandfather Genaro Becerra was born around 1896 also. His mother, Juanita Valadez would have been born probably between 1850 to 1883.

On my grandfather's naturalization papers (Genaro Becerra) it says that he was born in San Diego, Jalisco, Mexico.
He came to the United States thru Pedras Negras, Texas on a work train for 5 cents.
He was employed as a railroader here in the United States. I know that in Illinois he worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad.
Don't have a clue where Maria Hernandez, his wife, came from.
