Ohh Okay.....

While my Borrero family IS from Penuelas (Victor, my great grandfather, moved to PONCE after he married my great-grandmother, Aracelia RAMIERZ) and has LONG history in the area-- i don't think we are speaking of the same connection at this point in time.

Do you have a Miguel A VELAZQUEZ in your line? His family was also from Penuelas/Ponce and moved to NYC in the late 40's/early 50's. He married my grandmother's sister, Lydia BORRERO. The families had mutual friends in Puerto Rico (I believe the last name was Martinez) but Miguel and Lydia did not meet until they were all in NY.

Borrero?

My grandmother is Ana H. BLANCO nee BORRERO and she, along with her mother Aracelia RAMIREZ, moved to NYC in 1950 from Ponce, PR but the family has long connections to Penuelas Co

I too am a member of the Velazquez, also Valero and Borrero family on my grandmother side. They were mainly from Penuelas and Guayanilla and alot of my family moved to New York in the early 50s. They were Ana's Brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. Maybe we are related.

The results show a vast pervasive amount of racial mixing miscegenation and a high percentage of Amerindian mtDNA rendering a rainbow panoply of ostensible Amerindian, White, Mulatto, Mestizo Zambo, or Black phenotypes. Altho’ the dominamt paternal Dutch QUIRINDONGO yDNA “I” (eye) 2a1 (P37.2+1) and dominamt maternal Irish CORTES yDNA R1b1b2 both appear outside of Eitrope early perhaps as early as 1650, yDNA and phenotype has been continuously modified by mtDNA away from Europe every generation afterwards yet the Dutch yDNA in Asia and the Irish yDNA in the New World both remain constant and identifiable exotic curiosities. This is normal and expected because phenotype can change in one (1) generation. White, Black, Mestizo and Mulatto phenotypes can come from the same parents regardless of the parent’s phenotype according to the Mendelian Law of Phenotype Paper trail and possibly documented Probabilities. For instance from two (2) “White” phenotype parents the results are:
John 5/15/91
Richard 4/25/94
Barbara 1/16/98

The dominant yDNA gene Haplogroup is in a direct unbroken male line to the present day but it is just one (1) one male person 30.000 centuries ago changed by millions of mtDNA phenotype modifiers in our total ancestry pyramidal pedigree make-up.
Ethnic composition of present day PR

No significant “pure breed” in Israel

http://www.joshuaproject.net/countries.php?rog3=IS

Blacks and other non-Whites in Spain Italy Germany Europe and the New World
Europe and World Slavery and Bible ancient and present Slav-Slovak-Slovene Slavery
Earliest Black sub Sahara Black Slave trade
Black Slaves in Italy Portugal and Spain prior to 1492 in Spanish – for more click pages on bottom
Sub-Sahara African sicklecell anemia followed the slave trade into Europe India and New World altho’ Black phenotype changes to the majority population

DNA to become skctch artist
DNA to identify unknown criminal's phenotype jn detail FIVE (5) YRS IN THE FUTURE http://www.geneticsandsociety.org/article.php?id=4609
