Seeking Family history... Villasenor Family History....

I'm 28 and have loved my last name and the fact that I'm half mexican since I was little. My dad side of the family is mexican and my mom side is white. What Im really trying to find out is where exactly my great grandpa came from. I'm so lost the only things I got is my grandpa name and a couple relatives to go by. My grandpa is alive but its hard to talk on the phone with him because of his bad hearing. Grandpa name Juan Paul Villasenor (birth June 26, 1930), sisters Maria Dolores and Ester, I know he had brothers but I didn't get to meet any of them. I had a cousin Pete Villasenor and Manuel Villasenor. Some help please

Re: FRANCISCO VILLASENOR/JOSEFA APODACA

I am currently working on the Villasenor family from Las Curces, NM.
I think Francsico married Josefa Apodaca, born in Texas
They had the folllowing children:
Braulia, b. 1893
Luis, b. 1895
Guadalupe, b. 1897
Francsico, b. 1903
Anastacia, b. 1905
Rosendo, b. 1907
Rosendo in the father of six children, The one I am working with in Ms. Amelia Villa.
Rosendo married Esther Jimenez. M. Nov 1927, Dening NM.
Their son ws named Samuel Villa. The marriage certificate for Rosendo and Esther indicated Rosendo was a Villasenor, he must have changed his name before their first son Samuel was born in Dec 1927.

I hope someone will read this messege and will contact me.

Loco7976,
My mom had little information for me. She is 62 now and remember's very little about my father. She met him in a little bar called Gold Nugget there in Banning,Ca. She had 5 boys from another man. I been on a hunt for him or if he had any other children. I believe I might be his oldest child. My mother is Native American and part black. She said my father spoke of horse ranches his family owned back in Mexico. She thinks he was the youngest because his family was very over protective of him. She believes he stood at 5'10 very slender back then and light complected. From the nose up she says I look like him. As for his name that was the one he gave her. Do I look like I could be related to the Villasenor family?
Looking for VILLASENOR father!

30 years ago my father met my mother in Banning,Ca around 77-79 when I was born. I just wanted to tell you Augustine that am 30 now and have a great family. You have a daughter that wants to meet you and be in your life, I have been looking for you for years. All my life father, it's been rough not knowing where I came from and if there is someone out there that has been looking for me that I could call my father. Till this day I still walk around with this whole in my life thinking that am not loved from the man that made me with my mother. If there is someone out there that heard your father talk about every living in Ca. and thinks that he might have a child out there with a Native American woman that had five boys, that's me. I believe I would be your oldest child and I just want to close this part of my life but until then it remains unclosed and it hurts. If I have brother's or sister's or any family out there that wants to be in my life or my kids life please feel free to email me at rayna.madero@gmail.com . Being Native American and knowing those roots are fine but am also half Mexican and I don't know anything about that side, the Villasenor side.

He had many things to hide. The last time I saw him was in 1978. Now I have the need to find any relatives. Did you know him? What is your father's name? Uncles? Do you know anyone from La Puficacion Jalisco Mexico? Any response will help me.
Hello Tom,

I have yet to hear from you. The address where I used to live with my mother and father was 139 S. Loma Street in Los Angeles, CA. Now I am in the West Valley of Los Angeles. I am hoping to hear from you soon. I don't know if you got my previous message or not so that is why I am sending you this one. What is your email address, if it turns out that we might be related. I read one of your responses to Michelle Villasenor. I too have a sister by that name and she currently is also on the search. I have my father's social security number and previous employment history from the 1970's. I also heard he worked at an Income Tax Office and was a baker. When you have a chance please contact me at: villasenorjosefina@yahoo.com

I do not remember much but the house was white and some type of green color. I know that my dad used to work in an accounting office, and he had more children of which I would like to get in touch with. It has been 30 years since I've lived there. Did you know my dad? His name was Jose Galindo Villasenor. Please only respond in seriousness because I am desperately looking for any of my relatives.

Josefina

I just discovered that I decended from the Villasenor clan on my mothers side. My great-grandmother was the last in line to carry the Villasenor name.
Rafaela Villasenor Ortiz was born abt 1870's in the Morelia, Michoacan area. Seems that my line of family stayed in the Morelia/Puruandio and nearby towns from the beginning of the conquest in 1520's till my mother moved to the states, I was the last one from the line to be born in Morelia, Michoacan.

I'd be more than happy to share any information that I have discovered about the Villasenor family tree.
Wow, took me a month to absorb some of this exciting information, but still have a long way, more to go.

See Juan de Villasenor founder of Puruándiro, Michoacan.
Yes, the Villaseñor in Mexico are widespread. My line is from Guanajuato, the city, and San Luis de la Paz. I know my grand grand father was Agustin Villaseñor Sixtos, and had few brother, that I know: Manuel, Luis, Carmen and others, all gone by now. This is the Villaseñor line from Guanajuato, we all related. I know there are Villaseñor in Michoacan from old also, in Jalisco, in Oaxaca.
