Vittoria's from italy

I'm looking forinfo. on the VITTORIA family from ITALY:
Pietro dec 17,1888,italy to Andrew and Plilomenia D'Avanza VITTORIA
Pietro came to the US on 1905 and has 2 brothers NicolaJoseph also
who came to the US they had 2 sisters who stayed in italy, I don't
know there names.. I don't know how to get records out of Italy ,
Or how to do the money changes...Does Italy have a SS death index
or something similar??? thank for your help. joann

The Vittoria's that I'm looking for
started about 1865 around naples(so far)
who is andrew born@1865 his dad is nicholas,
from andrew's death certificate in Ma.1920.

I am Vito Farella. My Father was named Joseph Farella. He was the son of Vito Farella of Bari. His mother's name was Angelina. My father was born in 1923. His Father, Vito Farella, died in 1955 I believe.
Are we related?????
Do we share the same grandfather (nono)?

Sorry it took me so long to respond but I changed e-mail accounts and wasn't notified of any messages. We may be able to find a connection. My grandfather's name is Giacomo Ruscigno, son of Gaetano Ruscigno and Maria Donata Vittoria. Gaetano Ruscigno is the son of Michele Ruscigno and Chiara Clarizio. Maria Donata Ruscigno was the daughter of Luigi Vittoria and Giacoma Farella. All of the above resided in Sannicandro di Bari.

Hello Just recently found a Raimondo Vittoria
on a letter addressed to my aunt Antoinette Bossoreale Cotto
dated in 1980. I'm trying to find any information on the DiSilvestra-Bossoreale
family. I was told that there were/are relatives still in Militello Italy.
I'm not sure if Vittoria is a relation or not.Any help would be appreciated.

My Father's name is Giuseppe Mancini, son of Pasquale Mancini and Rosa Mangialardi from Sannicandro, Bari. My father married Costanza Farella, daughter of Nicola Farella and Rosa Maria Vittoria, who was the daughter of Vito Antonio Vittoria and Caterina Ruscigno, who resided in Sannicandro Bari.

I wish I had more information on Ruscignos still living around Bari but I don't. My grandfather came to this country in the early 1900s and I know he had some brothers and sisters who didn't and those still living around Bari may be descendants of them. I have info on a lot of Ruscignos living in the states. BUT you mentioned Mancini and my family was very close friends of the Mancini family both in Bari and in this country. There's a group of Mancinis who settled in Oregon.

Hi John: I was looking up the name Vittoria, as this is my grandmother's maiden name (Farella being her married name)and I saw your message. What got my curiosity even more is your last name Ruscigno as I was just talking with my mother and she mentioned a cousin in Bari, Italy by the last name Ruscigno. As a matter of fact, because I am doing a search on my ancestry Mancinis, Farellas, Vittorias and Mangialardis, I had asked her to give me some other surnames of family that are still alive in Italy or elsewhere. Some of these names were Ruscigno, Scivetti, Mangialardi, and one other one, which escapes me at the moment. Anyway, if you have any other info, I would be interested in hearing from you.

My great grandmother was Maria Vittori, born around 1842 in Bari Province (I think). She married Gaetano Ruscigno and they had 5 children, Clara, Mike, Giacomo, Joseph, Dominic.
