Having recently found a copy of the death certificate for my Great-Grandfather, I can now update the file: He died in Ermelo Holland on 12-01-1943 at the age of 81. His father's name was ABRAHAM WALLET (WALLE) and his Mother's name was AUGUSTE ISIGKEIT (According to the records)

His children were born in Matzutkehmen and Barkehmen (Goldap)East Prussia

According to church records, Fritz and Bertha Wallet were Farming in Matzutkehmen until 1939 or so and were probably expelled as a result of the war.

If you have any information, please post it.

Hi,

Quite possible. We are finding more and more information as we go along. Unfortunately, with the WWII bombings of Germany many of the records were destroyed. If we find more information, we will post it.

Thanks,

Lynda

I went to school with Jenny Wallet. The school was Rose Haven in Rockleigh, N.J.in 1962-63.
I lost touch with her after that
school year.
She was my best friend there and she came to my house in upstate N.Y.(Carmel)that
summer.
I often wondered what happened to her.
She lived in Manhattan like I did in those days.( the newscaster Chet Huntley from the 1960's was in her neighborhood)
I'd love to track her down after all these
years.
Jennifer was the spitting image of her dad I remember. I still have the photos of us together in school and also in Carmel.
Those days are so very precious to me now as with my beloved parents whom have both gone to the Lord.
Can you please help me find my long lost friend?
Thank You God Bless
Debra Katz
gaheath@bellsouth.net
