yeah i do have a marriage cert hun! his fathers name was howard harris and he was a leather worker. george and minnie got married on xmas day 1937 he was 20 she was 18. hope this helps

im going to walsall history either this thursday or friday,and will try and see if i can find any entries for a george harris.
if you have the marriage certificate of george and minnie lake
deos it state were they were living and who georges father was ?
if you could let me know it would make the search a little easier

I am a harris from walsall :-)
I am trying to research my grand fathers side of the tree but so far am stuck at george harris who married a minnie lake in 1936?

im trying to trace a branch of my mills ancestors from walsall,
my nan irene mills had a cousin john mills bap august 1900 at st patricks r.c walsall.he married a ellen murphy daughter of james murphy of walsall at st patricks r.c walsall in 1925.im sure john & ellen had 2 sons ronald born 1927 & clifford born 1930
do you have any connections with these names
