Looks like this site has gone to sleep. All I have is what I found in the Walworth-Walsworth book. With all the new free search websites it seems not many are using this one as it looks like most post are years old but I like to come back and check to see if there are any new post
Paul

Hi Paul! I am so glad to finally connect with you! I saw your pedigree on Rootsweb and have used it as a guide for the Wal(s)worths since I don't have the book and don't have any definite records. I would love to know the resources that you have researched to definitely prove our heritage. I have just joined the DAR under my Peavy ancestor and am anxious to prove my Wal(s)worth connection also, if possible. It is so interesting to me. So, how are we connected? My paternal grandmother was a Walsworth. I would love to correspond with you in detail. If you'd rather use my e-mail it is ribbonsandcanes@gmail. We might be able to talk in more detail there. Hope to hear from you soon! Libby Peevy

The Walworth-Walswoth book does not have much in the way of sources. Many of his families were gathered from letters to those living and their research. But he did do a lot of research using Vital Records. I have over the years gone into finding more of the sources I do have all of the books of the Walworth-Walsworth as well as The Walworth's of America and many other sources. If I can be of any help please contact me at
pdgjw1936@yahoo.com

Looking for information on Daniel & Donald Walsworth who served in the 2nd Regiment of York Militia during the War of 1812. They would have been living in one of several townships along the western shore of Lake Ontario and may have been the same person. I have militia records but no family history at this time.

Thank you so much for answering my message! So good to hear from you. Do you have any other information on the book, like a Library of Congress number or Publication name or address?

I would love to find out what historical information is in the book as well as get the genealogical information. Does the book list the references where the author researched and proved the connections?

I was born and raised in Jonesboro, La.,but no longer live there. Are you still in La? I hope to come down there in the spring to see my last remaining Peevy Uncle Waylon. If you are near maybe we could meet and I could look at your book if I'm not able to get a copy. Would you be able to do that? I would love to meet a "long lost cousin" that I never knew I had! William Thomas Walsworth was my great-grandfather and Maggie was my grandmother.

Looking forward to hearing from you again. My e-mail is ribbonsandcanes@gmail.com if you would like to e-mail me rather than use this message board.
Libby, there is a Walworth, Walsworth book. Copyright, 1962 by Reginald Wellington Walworth. I purchased my book in 1987
he had passed away by this time. Don't know where you could get a book now. We are related, my grandfather was Isaac Newton Walsworth, brother of William Thomas. Will be happy to help you any way I can.
I am looking for a book that supposedly was published on the Walsworth family history in Louisiana. My grandmother was Maggie Walsworth born 1896, my grandfather was William Thomas Walsworth born 1874 and my great grandfather was Daniel F. Walsworth born 1845, all lived in Louisiana. If anyone knows of any publication, please advise. Thank you.

Found the Obit on Vera Walsworth and from there found her parents. I do have them linked into the William Walworth line but looking for more at least on his wife and his mother as I do not have anything at this time. Vera had a brother Clyde also from her Obit. So from the Census and her Obit is where I have what I do have at this time Thank You
Paul Walworth

I wish you luck on that with Pomeroy "Peter" Walworth almost all I have was from the Walworth-Walsworth Book. Welcome to the hunt. I keep finding more Walworth-Walsworth's in Ancestry.com just by going through all the Walsworth and then the Walworth Obits and working with all the information which has added to quite a few of those still living. As well as which has added to those who have died and through them connected to a few more lines here and there.

I've just joined the team of ancestry.ca researchers. I've read, on this site,a lot of wonderful work done by many people. It's a bit overwhelming. I belong to the line of Peter Walsworth, who married Jane Lewis, and lived in West Williams Twp, Middlesex Cty, Ontario from before 1844 until his death in 1896. I noticed that someone found a birthdate for Peter - 6 April, 1921. I haven't been able to find the source of that citation. Also, the source that connects Edmund Walsworth of Townsend Twp, Norfolk Cty, Ontario with Peter is also unclear to me. Can anyone help? Thanks, in advance. Lynda

Paul, if you intended this message for me, yes, I am still here with a newer email address. I am descended from John Williamson Mize and Amanda C. Walsworth (b abt 1848, prob. Clarke Co, AL; d 1876-1878 Oak Grove, West Caroll, LA.)

I am related to Greenberry Walsworth because he was a brother to Amanda C. Walsworth. I am related to his wife, Sarah Elizabeth "Isabella" Mize because she was a sister to John Williamson Mize.

Two of John Williamson and Amanda C. Walsworth Mize's children lived with Greenberry and Isabella, after the death of Amanda.

Please contact me directly at annetteobrien99atgmaildotcom.
I too am working on this line among other Walworth-Walsworth lines. You probably already have gotten an answer, I am still waiting to hear from this line as one of the Descendants still lives in Louisiana and is suppose to be sending more on her line. Looks like Amanda was born in Alabama, but I don't have a name for David Ray's wife, even that he was married except you saying you are married to him. All I have for him is he was born 7 Jun 1970 but where I have nothing. But I suspect he was born in Jonesboro Louisana.
Thanks
Paul Walworth

Paul, we haven't "spoken" in quite some time, but Edmund is my gg-grandfather. I have been in contact with someone in Canada who is related to a man who did a lot of research on the Walsworth family. His ancestor was Peter Walsworth who married Jane Lewis. All these people lived and married in the same areas, and due to a lot of common facts, I believe Edmund and Peter were brothers. Now, according to the man in Canada's research which included contact with family in Michigan, the parents of Peter Walsworth were James and Charlotte Graves Walsworth. But, as you know, we still don't have concrete evidence for these assumptions. I have not heard from my contact in Canada in several months, but she says she still has files she is going to send to me. I am still hopeful that she will have the proof I have been looking for.

My Great Grandmother was Rhoda K. Walsworth, born 1868 in either Jonesboro or possibly Texas according to census. She married Francis Marion Harper, had two children (my Grandfather Samual Harper and Aunt Alice) then married Calvin Hall. She passed in 1954 in Jonesboro. Do you have any information on Rhoda? or the other children, S.W., John T., M. Narcissus, or Lyman B. My Grand father's half brother was named Lyman Rayford Hall. My Dad and his two brothers grew up in Jonesboro, my cousin still lives there. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Regards.

Robert Haprer
