I would also be interested in information on the Walt family. Martin Walt Jr. married Elizabeth Cox 3 Jun 1891 in Memphis. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas W. Cox and Martha (Mollie) Johnson. She was the granddaughter of George Melvin Cox and Elizabeth Ann Bumpass.

My grandfather was a 1st cousin of Elizabeth Cox. That would make me a cousin 2 times removed. I have been tracing descendants of Thomas Cox and Rebecca Webb for a few years and am just getting around to filling in some of the other branches of the family which includes Martin Walt, Jr's family.

The descendants of Martin Walt Jr and Elizabeth Cox would be my cousins.

I have fairly detailed information on most of the Coxes in my family tree but would like to know if there is any information on Elizabeth Cox's father, Thomas Washington Cox and his wife, Martha Isabelle Johnson. Is there a record of his death and where is he buried? I would love to see the photo of Elizabeth.
