Am trying to find my fathers ancestry, my fathers name was Hermond Edward Waring who was born in Meadville Pennsylvania.
His fathers name was Elmer Donald Waring he was born in Linesville Pennsylvania in 1889 to Jay Minnie Waring, he had a brother, Lester Born in 1895 a Sister,Mildred Waring Hartson born in 1897.
Elmer Waring married Kathryn LaBelle Brown of Diamond Pennsylvania, they had 2 children, Hermond Therzah Waring Forton.
I would like to go back further with my grandfathers family my grandmothers family ( Kathryn LaBelle Brown) of Diamond Pennsylvania, bornMay 9, 1893 to John Caroline Brown, she had 6 siblings.
Would greatly appreciate any info on the Pennsylvania Warings, they are a BIG mystery!!!

I'm of the VA Warings, but my Grandmother (who started me on my own chase) used to listen to Fred Waring and His Pennsylvanians and commented he was of the PA branch. That's all I have.
A good source is Becky Banks (bbanks@localnet.com. She has a fairly complete rundown on Warings. Suggest you contact her. Also, Reneelwaring@aol.com for a rundown of all the Waring branches and the Clearfield Co., PA bunch. She has it going back to Herefordshire, UK and 1722.
