Waring is not going to be your bunch. Common male given names in that line are Edmund, Edward, John, Joseph, Thomas, William. Samuel is virtually unheard of as a given name; there's one in the second generation and one in the eleventh, to my knowledge. Surnames you'll see marrying in to that line are Beamor,
Dawson,
Harleston, Ioor,
Malbone,
Mazyck,
Vanderhorst, Waties. You come across any of them, you're probably on the wrong track. The Low Country Warings were very given to recycling names, so the same ones recur again and again through the generations.
