Hi,

Seeking any information that can be provided on the following Warrilow (or connected) family.

William James Warrilow who married Mary Ann Marshall 11 April 1873, Parish of Poplar, Middlesex.

William's father was Thomas Warrilow, and 1881 Census Records for Staffordshire suggest mother was Rossanna Warrilow (nee ?). Siblings according to 1881 Census are likely to have been Rosanna (21), Sarah J (16), John A (13). Can trace presumed family to 1851 Cenus with William James Warrilow (2), Thomas Warrilow (26), Mary Elizabeth Warrilow (2 months) and Rosanna Warrilow (25).

1901 census records for Prittlewell, Essex suggest that William died prior to this census, and left the following family. Wife Mary Ann Warrilow (widow, 53), and children Amelia Selina Mary Healy (married, 26, nee Warrilow), Alice Mary Harper (widow, 23, nee Warrilow), Clara Rose Warrilow (single, 21), Frederick James Warrilow (10), and Claude Andrew Warrilow.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Susan

My Warrilow's came from Berkshire although this family probably originated in Staffordshire. I'm able to trace back to John (Joannes) Warrilow born abt. 1785 who married Sarah (Sarae) Silver at Woodley Lodge and was born about the same time as John. Sons and daughters are William, Catherine, Sarah, Charles, Mary Ann and John.

Warrilow isn't as common a surname as many others so I'm thinking we're connected somewhere. It's finding the connection.

I have two files that I maintain. One that keeps any kind of Warrilow information and the other is my direct Warrilow family.

Any and all information is appreciated.

David Warrilow

Does anyone have any information on:

William James Warrilow born in London who married Mary Marshall. The only information I have on either of them is that they had a son and William was a settleman
They had a son named Claude Andrew Warrilow who married Elizabeth Campbell Dunbar (born Waimati, New Zealand) on 07.08.1918. Claude was a farmer.

Any information would be greatly appreciated
