Wow! What a surprise. I am Carol Warsaw Revenaugh and am the eldest daughter of Edward Webster Warsaw and Lois D. Warsaw. I live in Kansas City, Mo. My father passed away in May 2008. I have one brother Charles E Warsaw II of Roanoke, Va. I knew that Charles and Jo had lived in Riceville, Ia prior to moving to Vermont. Josephine is burried there. Charles is burried in Lakeland, Fl. Edward was born May 23, 1921. I have never done any genealogy and would be interested in my family history. Looking for descendants of Charles E and Josephine Olive Lappin Warsaw who lived in 1931 in Kingston, PA. Josephine was sister to my g grandfather, Marvin E. Lappin of Howard Co, Iowa. This family was in Burlington, VT, without children in the home in 1920. The father was an electrical engineer working for an electric light company. His parents were born in England & NY.
One son, Edward, and a daughter Margaret who died at 5 years of age. I'm wondering what happened to Edward?

hi i dont know if it has any bearing, but i am researching my family tree of Creme's i have a Blima Creme (Cream) who was born in approx 1889 in russia she then came with her family to manchester England and i believe some of the family went to America. What was your grandmothers first name?

Marguerite Warsaw

1913-2003

Marguerite Louise Warsaw, 90, of Lima, N.Y., mother of Cheyenne resident Edward Carl
Warsaw Jr., died Sept. 26 in Lima.

She was born April 26, 1913, in Strawn, Ill.

She lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., for 58 years. She was employed in retail sales at
Patterson Fletcher for 30 years.

On Nov. 17, 1936, she married Edward Carl Warsaw.

She was a member of Calvary Temple, where she was involved in Golden Oldies of
Calvary Temple, and Widows and Friends of Calvary Temple. She was also a volunteer
at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Warsaw is survived by two sons, Edward Carl Warsaw Jr. of Cheyenne, and Jerry
Burton Warsaw of Lima; a sister, Laura Lindenbaum of Forrest, Ill.; five grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Warsaw; her parents, Barthel and
Lena (Troesch) Steidinger; two brothers, Albert Steidinger and Karl Warsaw; and three
sisters, Sarah Haab, Martha Wiley, and Ida Matuzek.

The memorial service was held Wednesday at Calvary Temple Worship Center. The Rev.
Bill Campbell officiated. Interment was in Strawn, Ill.

Friends may contribute to Widows and Friends Fund of Calvary Temple, 1400 W.
Washington Center Road, Fort Worth, IN 46825.

O'Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, Lima, was in charge of arrangements.

Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Warsaw.

looking for info on a Eliza Warsaw who married a Wm.H. Morrow, don't know when they married or where, but ended up in Knoxville, Tn. Had one son, and 2 dhts that i know of,one became my gr.gr.gr.grandmother.Her name was Elizabeth W. Morrow.HELP

I am researching the Gustman surname, my grandmother's maiden name. She had a sister Blima who married a Louis Gustman. They were Jewish immigrants from Russia to NYC in the early 1900's. I believe they had 8 children. Please respond if you think there is any remote chance of a connection. Thank you.
