John Weavers - Huntington's disease connection?

I'm trying to find where the Huntington's disease gene comes from in our family. John Weavers 1800-1855 is in my tree and his death notice indicates he was a drunk. Huntington's disease wasn't discovered until fairly recently so anyone in the past was thought to be drunk. I am wondering if any other descendants of John Weavers have Huntington's disease.

Hi Mary Jane,

I am a descendant of George Weavers b.1799 Alphamstone, Essex and Harriet Pye b.1805 White Colne, Essex who married in 1824. As George & Harriet's children were baptised at Pebmarsh and Alphamstone Parish Churches, that are adjacent Parishes, there is a possibility that there may be connections between our Weaver / Pye families. I have considerable information on the Weavers from Alphamstione / Pebmarsh district.

Owen Palmer
New Zealand

Please email me at "owen.palmer@slingshot.co.nz" if you have an interest in my Weavers Family information.

Abraham and Kesiah apparently left Ohio for Illinois somewhere around 1850 as they do not show on any census I can find. I believe she and her husband are buried at teh Defenbaugh Cemetery, Reading township, Livingston, Illinois. I have no firm date of birth/death for her, nor any idea of her family.

He was born around 1860 somewhere in Texas, he later made his way to Raymond Miss where in 1879 he married my Great Grandmother Emma J. Brown. He never returned to Texas. I have info that he may have left Texas after being involved in a unlawful act. I believe that George Washington Weaver may not have been his real name but I am following that lead because it is all I have to go on.
He lived out his life in Miss as a share cropper. He died in 1919.
Any help would be appreiated

Dear Scott,
My name is Chris Weaver. Nora was my great aunt on the Weaver side. Her brother Tom was my grandfather and her bro. Louie, married to Lola Greenhaw, was my great uncle.
Veronica responded to a query that I posted a while back. But like you, her e-mail kept coming back and I was not able to communicate with her. I would be happy to share info with you. If you are in contact with Veronica would you please forward my e-mail to her. Please contact me at: cdweaver@puc.edu.
Thanks,
Chris Weaver

Looking for any information people may have of a William Weavers (occupation listed as Soldier) who died prior to 1838. He is the father of a William Weavers from Wilby Suffolk (who emigrated to Australia in 1844).

Any information on how to further search for his military records would also be helpful - although I do not know any more about him.
